I am kinda old school, prefer naturally aspirated engines. Curious if anyone knows of upgraded internals that would add more HP. For example, can the displacement be added and sleeved? Can better rods be installed for supporting higher RPM's? Higher flow heads? I really don't want to...
Agreed and I am torn to modify this sound in order to get more hp gains. Stupid loud is very subjective though, some folks believe louder the better, some believe there is a limit to the madness. Such hard life decisions!! lol.....
In all my adult life and following mustangs, Steeda has never been on my radar for parts enhancements or performance. I guess some true time comparisons would change my mind between the models excluding superchargers.
I see your point, in my humble opinion, I am fine with Ford not offering cheaper versions for any reason. I want to elevate the brand and performance, Ford wants to cater to the masses. I don't care much for the masses.......
Then how does every other manufacturer do it if they don't offer cheaper models? You saying the V8 cost at a minimum would kill the buying power
How does Chevy do it with the corvette then by not selling super cheap models?
Personally I wish Ford would not even offer anything other than V8 versions, I think anything less cheapens the brand. Heck, even Ford puts on these skinny-ass tires on the GT's and it looks like shiz. Ford just ruins the brand when they try to cater to all demographics.
How much does it need to be lowered? That could mess up a bunch of geometry and alignments with transmission and suspension if you had to make it lower.
Good points folks, appreciate the input. Didn't know the R had a -1.6 max setting, good to know. I think my worry is that the dealership is going to eff-up and not know proper settings or other issues it could cause like what JAJ said about potential rubbing on the inside if done wrong. I...
Currently I have 325 rear tires in the rear, it came that way. Rear tires stick out just a tad and I'd like to adjust the rear camber slightly negative to tuck it in just a tad. Has anyone had their rear camber adjusted for such dilhemma?
