  1. Impressive paintless dent repair

After some unidentified objects bounced off the vehicle in front of me and then hit my car, I was left with scuff marks and multiple dents. This was my first experience with paintless dent repair and I’m impressed at the results. Have any of you had any experiences with PDR?
  2. Stock PZeros - How long do they last?

I don’t have any documentation to provide, but the stock section width of 235mm (with the base/18” foundry wheels) does not seem appropriate for a vehicle that weighs in around 3700-3800 lbs. Tire compounds affect the level of traction while section width affects tread wear. For example, racing...
  3. Stock PZeros - How long do they last?

Stock Pzero’s, how long do they last? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 The stock Pzero’s have the tread wear of a performance tire with none of the actual traction performance. On my 2017 GT I got around 9k miles before they needed to be replaced. To be fair the sizes used are inadequate to support the weight of the...

Hey everyone, here’s a video I made with some tips on how to diagnose DTC’s. Feel free to like/comment/subscribe. Best of luck with your repairs.
  5. Ridiculous forums and threads that could have existed in historical times if the technology was present

Late 1800’s to early 1900’s: -Horsies vs Automobiles -Best horseshoes for wet traction -Just test drove an Automobile, has no soul, feels too mechanical -Cast vs forged horseshoes -Just traded my horsies for an Automobile, will post pics after I draw them -Changing values with Horsescan -1...
  6. Random thoughts.......................

If you have thinning/receding hair lines and/or bald spots, why do you have to pay full price for hair cuts?
  7. Intake ducting misalignment

While replacing my air filter today I noticed that the intake ducting was not sealed correctly. I reinstalled the air box and made sure it fit correctly. It won’t make much of a difference in IAT or performance but at least it seals better.
  8. How often do you guys see other Bullitts on the road?

I saw one yesterday. So far that’s 1 Bullitt in 11 months for me.
  9. How often do you guys see other Bullitts on the road?

15 years ago my first car was a 1999 Mustang GT in Dark Green Satin. It was very close to DHG. I loved that color and over the years I was never able to find another. When I decided I was getting a Bullitt earlier this year I was excited to see what the 2019 version of DHG looked like. It was a...
  10. How often do you guys see other Bullitts on the road?

I get the whole purist perspective but we are a long way from the 1960’s. Any production car with a Bullitt badge is based on a theme and not 100% authentic. I respect the opinions of those who think otherwise, but to me it’s inaccurate to think that any non DHG Bullitt is an imposter. It’s not...
  11. How often do you guys see other Bullitts on the road?

Either way it’s still a Bullitt. Read my VIN and weep shadow black haters lolz.
  12. How often do you guys see other Bullitts on the road?

Still no Bullitt sightings for me, I did see a Lexus LFA while driving around last Saturday. The exhaust sounded amazing!
  13. Stock vs Raceseng Ashiko weights

It’s not that bad. Even in direct sunlight it doesn’t get scalding hot. Disclaimer: I’ve worked on cars professionally for over 15 years and my hands/fingers have a high tolerance for heat. Shifting is now almost effortless with the additional shift knob weight.
  14. Stock vs Raceseng Ashiko weights

I have a Raceseng shift knob that was leftover from my last S550 and decided to try it out on my Bullitt. On my 2017 GT the extra weight helped to smooth out the MT82’s notchy shifts. I haven’t had any shifting difficulties with the stock knob. I mainly swapped it because I prefer machined...

  16. Digital instrument cluster unit cooling fins

I agree that it’s not just a “dumb” display but I was surprised at what is technologically necessary to make it function. I may have been oversimplifying, but converting CAN bus data into a visual display with some animations and functions didn’t seem that crazy in today’s world of electronics...
  17. Digital instrument cluster unit cooling fins

I came across some pictures of a digital instrument cluster for sale and one of them showed the back of the unit. I didn’t think the display would generate enough heat to require this amount of cooling fins. I wonder if the unit has an internal cooling fan as well. Anyone ever notice this before?
  18. BLACK S550 MUSTANG Thread

Just washed, now to enjoy the 5 minutes of it staying clean :cwl:
  19. Full detail complete with Turtle Wax Ceramic Spray coating!

Update: Since I applied 2 coats of the turtle wax hybrid ceramic spray on September 14, I’ve hand washed the car about 3 times with non wax soap. Driven in sun, rain, and dusty conditions. I’ve noticed less water beading and sheeting in some areas. Not a bad product, I’d use it again if I had...
