  1. Paint bubbling up on bottom edge of door

I can correct the paint myself, I'm an auto detailer. My concern is that if I pop those bubbles that there will be raw metal or primer or something under them, and thats going to require a repaint. I wont settle for touch up on a factory issue on a brand new car. Of course if I try to repair...
  2. Paint bubbling up on bottom edge of door

Hi guys, I took delivery of my '15 EcoBoost A/T in Magnetic Metallic on Friday, right off the truck. I did a full initial detail yesterday and found paint bubbling up on the bottom edge of the door. It doesn't look like theres any exposed panel at the moment, so I might wait to bring it to...
  3. Picking up Mustang tomorrow, things to look out for?

What are some things I should look out for/immediately do once taking delivery of the car? I'm an automotive detailer, so definitely going to give it a full detail and paint sealant as soon as possible. Also read about the stock tire pressure potentially being too high so I'll be checking...
  4. Ford vehicle option coding/programming?

 Oh well.. I drive around my parking garage without a belt on after having to get my wallet out, and the 30 seconds it takes me to find a spot the belt warning never goes on, and if it did I don't think it would annoy me *that* much. That is an excellent point!
  5. Ford vehicle option coding/programming?

Why would you want to remove the seatbelt chime? Anyone who drives without their seatbelt is just a driving darwin award.
  6. Car is at the ramp... its happening!

I just cannot sit here and be still at the moment, I am incredibly elated to hear that the car I've been waiting for is "at the ramp" which apparently means its at the rail-yard where cars are offloaded from the train. I've been tracking this car for several weeks, and been through some rough...
  7. Ecoboost AT "jerks" when shifting.

Make sure your foot is down on the break all the way when your shifting, if its not fully on the break it might feel like a slight jerk as it goes into gear without any resistance.
  8. Incompetent Dealer(s)

Your opinions I suppose, of which you are entitled to. But I don't give my business to a place that treats me like shit and wont do exactly what I want to do. And if you guys choose to do that, well thats your prerogative.
  9. Incompetent Dealer(s)

Okay, your points are fair. I don't have the time to rebuttle, but in my opinion, a dealer only exists as a medium between Ford the company and me. If I didn't have to deal with a dealer to buy a car, and could buy direct from Ford, I would. But since I don't have that option, and my only...
  10. Incompetent Dealer(s)

Yes. One dealer I bought a car from before and we were communicating only via phone for that deal and for this one. The communication broke down almost immediately with this dealer. The second dealer I went in person to after getting fed up with the first dealer, and the communication just...
  11. Incompetent Dealer(s)

    Yeah, really frustrating.
  12. Incompetent Dealer(s)

I spoke to a manager this morning and outlined my experience in full. He apologized and asked if there was anything he could do. After double checking the value of my trade in we decided to part ways and my deposit should be returned in full. Might hop off the Mustang buying train for a while...

Welcome to Ford Service™ where we will find any excuse in the book to void your warranty even if it means losing a customer for life. We already got your $30K so who really cares anymore?
  14. $175/hr for dyno time

We've been in contact :) I'm the annoying guy via email with 50 million questions. I just don't want to run my car on the street at 100MPH to give you the proper data logs so I was looking at dynos to do the runs. The $175/hr was literally just to use the dyno, no tuning involved.
  15. Incompetent Dealer(s)

I am having the worst of luck trying to actually buy a new Mustang. The first two dealers I called (the two nearest to me) refused to return my calls, and then took forever to check if they could get Mustangs as a dealer trade, and all 4 of the vehicles I was interested in got sold while they...
  16. $175/hr for dyno time

Guess I gotta get my fat arse down to Texas!!
  17. $175/hr for dyno time

Got some back roads that aren't trolled by cops where you can pull really high speeds?
  18. $175/hr for dyno time

Hi folks, I was just quoted $175/hr with a minimum of 2 hours for some dyno time at a local tuning shop. Just time to do runs on a dyno, no tuning. Is this a normal rate for this service? I just need to do some data logging but I don't care to run my car up to 100mph on the street...
  19. auto rev matching

I wont have the premium drive modes, does this matter?
  20. auto rev matching

Is S mode the one where you use the paddle shifters? Is the rev match aggressive like a race car or only a small blip (example, 3K rpm downshift from 3rd to 2nd is more than a small blip)? I haven't got my car in hand but I am most excited for this feature in the auto, makes tracking a ton...
