Which one did you deal with out of curiosity? I must have picked the worst dealer in London to buy mine at, but not going to derail the thread. I love my car, that's all that matters. Lol.
EDIT: Nevermind saw you said you don't want to post it. No worries :)
For what its worth, quite a few people voted "both choices are horrible options" on your last thread asking which car to buy... Glad you got a refund, but you should have run fast from both of those cars to begin with.
You can, but there's a lot of red tape in place that makes it hard for us Canadians to do that. Will likely be forced to pay US tax AND Canadian tax on the car... import fees, inspection fees, etc etc... In the end, it won't end up being any cheaper than finding one here.
I don't understand why some people in here are getting worked up over those who decide to drive their cars in the winter... What about all those people who are driving six-figure BMW's, Mercedes, etc in the winter? Heck, I saw a Lambo Urus ($300,000) on the road during the latest snowstorm this...
Undercoating wise, stay away from any of the rubberized products as they will break down and end up trapping moisture. I use Krown myself - it's a once a year oil spray. This will be the fourth winter for my Mustang, and I haven't had any issues with corrosion. Check out their site...
Well, my previous post just disappeared... interesting.
There are posts regarding different tests people have conducted, but they are likely buried in the massive tick threads...
When I started using Ceratec, it was added to oil with about 40% life remaining according to the oil life monitor...
Not to mention that most of their platforms are so long in the tooth that they are literally slapping lipstick on a pig at this point. My parents bought a Nissan Rogue a few years back, and while its fine for their needs and has given them no issues... when I checked it out it kind of felt like...
The clips on the original bumper cover were broken on one side, so they brought in a new cover - They painted and cleared it and put it on my car. I'm guessing they rushed the job and didn't let the paint cure properly before applying the clear coat... it was flaking off in chunks. No spider...
The vast majority of Ford dealers are trash and have no respect for customers or their car(s)
When I bought my Mustang, I didn't notice one of the bumper clips was broken and the bumper was detached at that little spot by the headlight. I picked up the car late in the day, and only noticed once...
That absolutely sucks man... Scammers are everywhere.
Back in the early 2000's I was taken for $300 on a forum, to this day I still don't trust anyone ... Unfortunately, this will likely be a learning experience, don't see you being able to recover the money. Rule #1: google all addresses, use...
I ran stock OPG for about 18 months on a Roush Phase 1 kit on the canned Roush tune. Changed to a PBD tune, added long tubes and had a Boundary OPG and C/S installed for peace of mind. I should also note that the stock OPGs were heavily scored on one side when they were removed... :whew:
That happened the first two years I owned the car, had to get it fixed twice. At least they covered that.
Every single year I have owned this car there has been a paint issue. There is no excuse for this bullshit.
