Oh - so you bought a premium non-digital gauge cluster and swapped it?
I ask because I read somewhere here - so many topics I get lost - that you MAY be able to forscan a base cluster to activate the mycolor in it. That, like the wiring for the pp gauges already in the base car, the mycolor was...
That I do not know for sure. My guess is no and that you will need all the hardware regardless of SYNC version, and NAV/noNAV, i.e.: Screen, APIM, harness, faceplate, reprogramming. Someone might chime in to correct me . . .
Here's a list:

Here's a good video:
I know at some point the VIN must be programmed in the unit for the car.
Done! This was so easy thanks to all your input, tips, pics, etc. Thanks!
Started out with a Dremel, but quickly just used a sharp utility knife to cut the dash. Nice clean cuts too. I didn't even need to completely remove the radio/climate face-plate to remove the display and pop out and...
Ok so I ordered the M-5300-x Ford Performance 1" drop springs, designed for the stock struts / shocks.

Then I decided to get the M-18000-F strut/shock package

The M-18000-F is designed for the...
Ok - you all convinced me. I ordered the M-18000-F package of struts/shocks, etc. I got a good price and they came in around $500 delivered, only a bit more than the sway bars I originally asked about.

I scoured this forum and found people...

Totally understand. I am really getting the 1 inch lowering springs just to close that wheel/fender gap a bit. I just don’t like it and notice it every time I look at the car. Pure cosmetic, as the stock suspension seems fine. I don’t know what I’m missing yet.
But I will start...
Norm - Good advice. I may do a hybrid of everything above. That is get the lowering springs, live with them for a little bit, and then if I want more go with the shocks and struts etc. Don’t have the cash right now to do everything.
Thanks for the advice - I just figured “for only $400 more maybe it will . . .” You’re right, though, do the whole thing at once. I learned that on my Wrangler, suddenly forgot that now with the Mustang. Thanks
Yeah -that’s what I’m trying to talk myself into, just lower, stop there, and be happy. I’m always chasing the next level . . . Thanks for the input!
I have an appointment to install new Ford lowering (X-springs M-5300-XA) on my stock 19 GT. These are a small drop - 1" and basically for looks. I drive street only; no drag, no track, no autocross.
What do you think of adding the Ford M-5490-G Sway Bars while the car is up on the lift and...
Very happy - stoked! Got a 2019 a few weeks ago. Very basic - Oxford White / 10A / 3.55 / Active Exhaust. Love the sound, power, looks! Minus 1 point for some quality control and fit/finish niggles.
