Ok so I ordered the M-5300-x Ford Performance 1" drop springs, designed for the stock struts / shocks.
https://performanceparts.ford.com/part/M-5300-X
Then I decided to get the M-18000-F strut/shock package
https://performanceparts.ford.com/part/M-18000-F
The M-18000-F is designed for the M-5300-Y springs
https://performanceparts.ford.com/part/M-5300-Y
But will the X springs be ok with the M-18000-F shock/struts? I don't mean actually fit, but work to improve the stock suspension? Will the X be too "soft" for the shock/struts?
Or am I better of returning the X and getting the Y springs?
I've read at Summit's site the M-18000 works with the X springs, but no where else definitive.
Thoughts?
