I've heard of people sometime having to go to a High flow Convertor H-pipe or catless H-pipe in the case of some superchargers; but I don't think that's mandatory.
Whoever is saying you need an axleback to fix any issue is someone I would not want to deal with.
I wouldn't blame you for...
I've also downloaded the online brochures but I've only received one by mail once.
I even called a few weeks before the labor day sale to have one to replace my expired coupon that was only good for two weeks. They said they would send it right out after and I never received it.
Good...
It's nice to see a part for the 2015's that doesn't cost an arm and a leg that solves a problem that Ford won't address. Very nice!
Now that there is an affordable performance solution to the shifter issues what is going to be done to address the problem people have with the clutch pedal...
Well, was going for one of two cars today using the 0%/72 + $1000 rebate + $750 private coupon.
One car the local dealer was going to ship in sold last night.
The other car, Deep Impact Blue GT, I went to look at today was just conveyed to me when I got there that it was sitting at the Browns...
Yes, you will have to generate it online. See SC Ruby's post #946 above.
I was able to get my X-plan PIN and $750 eCertificate after just joining the EAA recently.
I did a little more digging and figured it out. I was able to generate my PIN and get the $750 certificate.
Hopefully they are recognized by the dealer I am working with as I haven't been a member the 60 days I thought was required.
I guess we'll see what happens.
Thanks!
Did you generate the X-plan pin and get the $750 certificate on the EAA site one you joined or elsewhere? I joined the EAA recently but am unsure how to get the $750 certificate.
Thanks!
I asked my local dealer that as I can't find a 15 I want. They said the 0%/72 + $1000 is for the 15's only.
They said they probably won't see any significant deals until at least Memorial Day 16; which sucks!
Yes. I was talking with a few dealers last week and they were honoring X-plan or better in some cases, the 0%/72, $1000 rebate, and my $750 private cash coupon.
It would be a great final price, but can't find a base GT that matches my requirements.
It sounds like you and Process have been issue free with the power you are making and the stock OPG.
Does this apply to the Crank Sprocket gear that was mentioned above as well?
When I get my 2015 I am going to supercharge it and maybe I won't be pushing it with either of those parts if all...
I'm thinking the OPG/Crank gear should probably be considered mandatory on any forced induction application? I think people have had issues with them on even less power?
A dealer who is looking for a base 2015 GT for me found one in Cincy but it had the PP. If it didn't have the Perf. Package, which I don't want due to the steep gears, I would have jumped on it.
The price was $32,250 OTD with 0%/72 + $1500 rebate.
Back to the database they go. I hope they find...
I just got a quote from a dealer in Michigan for a base 2015 GT and they offered the 0%/72 financing and a $1500 rebate. Their quoted price was better than X-plan by several hundred dollars. Unfortunately my $750 brochure coupon I waited months for expired last week; even though I only got it...
You are incorrect on no V-6 being in the fox body cars. My first car was a '79 Mustang with a 2.8 V-6.
They had naturally aspirated versions of the 6 (2.8 V-6, 3.3 I6, and 3.8 V-6) through 1986 after which it was dropped until the SN-95 platform in 1994.
I bet they will do that otherwise the Focus RS is probably going to outrun it.
But yeah the V-6 days are numbered just like the manual transmission (MT-82); both of which Ford didn't put much effort into. :D
