What did the Procharged car run?
I know any solution to the wheel hop will probably never be cheap; even aftermarket half-shafts are very expensive.
I was lucky on my 2003 Cobra to never have wheel-hop that many had.
yep, the wheels do look pretty good.
I guess it's personal taste but that looks like a bunch of JC Whitney body kit add-ons. The backend looks terrible.
Those are some nice comparison photos of the same car/color.
I like that color very much and especially colors that look different depending on the time of day + weather.
I still think I'm looking to buy a GT in Ingot, Guard, or Magnetic. I prefer muted colors even though many might consider...
I think I a lot of people are still interested in seeing what the base kits with the manufacturer provided tune make as many people will want to just bolt on the kit as is.
You should have started another thread if you wanted to post a competitor's unit and price. :tsk:
I'm also very confident that Terry will beat Steeda's price and package extras by a good margin.
If I'm not mistaken Procharger is the only one of the three on the market as of today. Heck; even the Procharger Stage II is now available.
The Vortech/Paxton have only been seen on test vehicles so far. Any pricing for them is not available yet or someone has been quoting prices from the...
I agree. There are some concessions to installing any supercharger but I'm curious why they didn't take a bit more time to avoid having to mess with trimming and cutting engine, body, and suspensions parts.
Maybe I wouldn't have a problem with this if it was an older vehicle but not something I...
As many people have said the key to longevity with FI on the Coyote motored cars is all in the tune; no matter if you run a centri, a positive displacement unit, or a turbo.
The centri units for the 2015 are definitely the best bang for the buck from what we've seen so far. They are at least...
It sounds like the standard Procharger tune is pretty good even though a custom tune will open it up a bit more.
If I get any of the standard kits I will roll with that initially, get used to the power, and see how I like it. If, or when, I want to tweak it for more HP I will look into a custom...
Are cat-deletes recommended for a kit like this? I know some people were burning them up on some of the 11-14 cars with some of the supercharger kits.
Will there be a loss of any boost when going to cat-deletes?
I agree that Ford needs to start bringing out more colors than the old standards.
I would like to see a dark brown or bimini blue or light grey that was available during the fox body years.
People wrap a lot of Mustang's as Ford doesn't offer enough interesting possibilities.
I know they like...
I'll definitely look into the bottom line on several options. I can't really complain at all about the few I have seen in the 28-29k range as it has to be a couple thousand less than invoice on the cars.
Thanks!
I see a few 2015 base GT's on autotrader near me for $28k-$29k. As these are already under invoice I assume I can't use x-plan or any other rebates on those cars?
So we have some people able to stack offers and some say it isn't possible. I guess it's going to depend on the dealer if they will combine them and I can't see many doing that.
