No, fresh lund tune. No issues with manifold whatsoever, just a weird static/sparking noise coming from the closest to the front bumper coil pack on passenger side.
Installed boss manifold on my 2016 5.0, automatic. Noticed some different noises after getting home from shop for the tune. Won’t let me post a video but coming from around coil packs; weird staticy noise
Going to be installing a boss manifold on my 2016 5.0 Is there anything I will need to assist through the install to make sure everything goes into place as it should and fits? I know I may need to cut the hood since it’s taller. Any help is much appreciated.
I highly doubt there’s any internal mods because the car only had an intake and mufflers whenever I bought it. Just a thought, but I’m gonna get it on the dyno and see what it’s running and then get a new tune
Thanks for the input, the car was previously tuned for not having any cats so there is no cel. I understand what you’re saying about it not being dialed in 100% like it should and I do agree which is why I’m getting a new tune soon. My main point at this post is just to share what is going on...
Also I have had zero issues with anything on the car, I don’t drive it hard unless I’m racing which isn’t often. I understand if it does have an aggressive tune something could happen but i think something would’ve happened by now if it was. Going to get a new tune through Lund soon anyways...
When you get a Lund tune they don’t ask what headers you have, I’ve talked to shops about it too. It’s not significant enough to do anything, also I’m already tuned and I think I may have been tuned for more than what i had so maybe that’s why it was so crazy when I put them on
