Huh?
Running DI only (no port blending) will totally allow him to run more timing and make more power. I have had great joy in being able to run larger DI injectors and large DI pumps, to remove the port injectors entirely on 1000+ hp cars.
The last one that made the 1,216 rwhp HP.... gained...
And to think I had a GT350 intake ready to swap on if needed.....
Imagine no cats, headers, and that GT350 intake! Would have been an easy 50+ more HP. Might have been the first 1000hp P1X.
That is correct. And it could make MORE power if I extended the revlimiter further, or ran the 3.40 pulley. With the new tensioner it hangs on. But that's way over the blower's max speed. The idea was to see what it would make right at the rated max speed of the blower
6-10 speed transmissions negate the reason for it. NOBODY is trying to make boost at 2,000 rpm anymore. It is still a fun concept, and changing boost on the fly rocks.... and changing the boost curve is really neat. I had one for like 3 years, and loved it.
Guys,
I won't lie, at first I thought these were silly. Then I started wearing it every day. Cause its a heck of a lot more convenient than a scarf (nothing wrong with those either).
Not kidding, we only made a handful (and won't make them again). So if you want one (or for a gift) you...
Seems all the YouTubers blow up more and more stuff than I can imagine...

In 15+ years and thousands of tuned cars, and thousands and thousands of pounds of boost. And having at least (2) forced induction cars at a time personally, I can count on 1 hand the number of...
Thats correct, but I was on 110 octane fuel (not E85). So it would have been like 40% with E85.
Either way any 1000's or close to that will be MORE then enough for what you need. :)
This is the real problem....
I bought a 2018 as a "toy" and put a P1X on it... accidentally racked up 30k miles. (smiling the whole time)
Now, I bought a 2017 as a "weekend toy" again, this time with a P1SC1 CARB kit, and here we are already 2,000 miles this month of "weekend fun" lol.
opps.
I am 20.1 on my "average" ..... and 25-26 on highway only. (I drive 120 miles each way, every weekend to my lake get away... speed limit is 65 basically 90% of the drive)
Supercharge, Supercharge, Supercharge
I literally have daily driven ProCharged Mustangs for about 15 years now. I literally can't imagine NOT having that kinda fun every time I wanna push down on the "loud pedal". Even my 6 year old, loves it when I take her to school everyday, and I give it...
Don't get me wrong, I love all power adders (anyone that knows me, knows this is true)
But I have friends that make posts about "I can't hook 1st or 2nd on the street".... and then post "I need more down low" days later LOL. Its like they enjoy making the traction control work harder. lol.
Man, I am trying to help here (and so are others) but...
1) 100% on your installer (chased tail with tune, due to backwards intercooler)
2) Missing bolts 100% on us, though they also might have been misplaced
3) 100% on your installer (literally 5 pages of photos show this)
4) 100% on your...
To me it sounds like an idler spacer is missing, or installed wrong. (this is the car that had the intercooler on backwards right?) This might be a good time to triple check everything, cause that sounds like metal on metal to me.
I have a P1SC1 Helical on my daily driver, and literally...
