  1. Boosted Timing Info

When you hit the rise a few things happened. 1) Load went up which create heat 2) Load finally hit the point to allow timing to be added 3) Rpm was low, so water pump isn't moving a lot of fluid. Once you downshifted you changed everything. Less load More rpm = more water pump flow...
  2. going for that quickest 2018 gt record....

To be fair the 9.92 is with a car that's nearly stock and a full weight daily driver. ;) (doesn't even have a fuel system) ProCharger P1X (HO system) DW400 fuel pump "Test Pipes" E85 3.73's (car had the lame gears in the rear) Without a DOUBT you should slaughter that. And my hats off to...
  3. Your tuner tells you to...

You can do it either way. Just depends on how you set up the tune, and the injector info and FP slopes. But if you do have it referenced, it makes your injectors support more HP. (as long as your pumps are happy at the elevated pressure)
  4. Recent Procharger Install Concerns

Not a problem! And I feel ya... I only have one kiddo, but that keeps me driving my 4 door truck 90% of the time. LOL.
  5. Boosted Timing Info

Shouldn't ever really be "0" Unless they have been turned off, limited, or desensitized. 99% of the time if your foot is down, they are adding or removing.
  6. Recent Procharger Install Concerns

Sure did, He dropped the car off, and about 30min later tune was updated. What was really nice is that he left the car for a few days so that it could be validated in all conditions. (hot start, cold start, and even on the dyno) I am happy to report she is OEM stock and silky smooth...
  7. New PB!! :) *update* 9.4@144 with a P1SC Stage 2

I would expect around a 3psi-5psi difference with an X. But then again, nobody has max'ed one out yet other then Tyler V. that I know of.
  8. Procharger Stage II install Question

I been in and out of the office the last couple weeks. BUT super glad to know that the guys got things taken care of! :) :hail::ford::cheers::headbang::thumbsup:
  9. Procharger is CARB legal now?

They are a selling item. :)
  10. Lost Compression in cyl 7&8 Mystery Solved!

In the motors I have taken apart they seem to average around 12-15 But I have had some as right as 9 (and they were the broken ones)
  11. Another PBD tuned 2018 ProCharger car!

Looks like Tyler Scofield is going to have some FUN! He just laid down 667rwhp on low boost, and 93 octane Thanks to Palm Beach Dyno and HP Tuners. WELL DONE EVERYONE!
  12. Lost Compression in cyl 7&8 Mystery Solved!

I have actually done destruction testing on these motors. 1) If you force detonate them... you break the top of the piston. 2) Heat from long duration pulls (and low timing, due to high boost) kills the middle ring lands (like this image) 3) Not enough or too much fuel = melted stuff...
  13. Lost Compression in cyl 7&8 Mystery Solved!

    NICE!!!!! :cheers::cheers::headbang::ford::thumbsup:
  14. Lost Compression in cyl 7&8 Mystery Solved!

No tuner could have saved that motor. Typical tight ring gap + highway pull = heat failure. The only thing getting old about seeing these failurs, is all the tuners throwing other tuners under the buss. (and the FB group guru's chiming in) Nothing in the ECU says "Save...
  15. Methanol injection question...

    Solid Plan!!! Have fun!!!
  16. whipple gen 3 stage 2 vs procharger

My 2018, that looks stone stock... sounds stone stock.... Has a blacked out intercooler, and stock tires. But just put a whooping down on Supercharged V10 R8's.... Wait whhhhhhatttttttt ;) Speak softly, carry a big stick. :)
  17. Overall disappointed.

If you went from NA, to ProCharged And it doesn't feel like a rocketship. Something is very wrong.
  18. Methanol injection question...

I have "some" experience... I built the Mustang Cobra the owner of "Snow" personally owns like 10 years ago. :) I bet I have set up nothing short of 50-75 cars on meth. But again, a coyote has factory widebands... so its very easy for people to overfuel them with them, then the widebands...
