A better shot for anyone who is still thinking about getting the Shelby GT-H or GT-S fascia and alternative of retaining your stock upper if you desire.
That's the beauty of this aftermarket mach 1 bumper,. No need to change lights and also even would have had to change the wiring harness or mod it to work properly with a 15-17 parking lamp if using the factory take off
Here is what had to be adjusted to the PP belly pan. The more GT-H I see, the belly pan is actually attached to those u clip extensions built in the new bumper, but edges are left exposed and open (not able to be tucked in) base pan runs short not able to connect to all holes and will not...
Look forward to seeing it installed,. I opted to try the Shelby GT bumper instead so I could have my ACC working and stand out a bit as a more rare example especially retaining my gt/cs upper grille
I will take better photos later, but here is a shop photo of it before license plate bracket was modified and corrected, (was still in stock shape)
The lower splitter? I did inquire with the supplier if they had the Super Snake lower, but they do not sell it or even the new 2022 bezels that I...
Looks all done so far.
PP pan was used, they however had to mod the pan to a point of trimming the original 9 raised bolt hole housings off (could not use the built in 9 plastic sections behind the bumper for using those holes. ) and instead re-use the existing uclips that come installed with...
I was washing my car and also polishing my Shelby double walled tips and was thinking again about this and realized it would be a lot harder for me to polish and reach in to buff my tips with the bottom plastic now blocking access :P
Some updates,
Base Belly pan lines up better in front with providing only 7 of the 9 screw section of the new bumper, however it then no longer lines up with the screw holes in rear of belly pan.
The PP one uses all 9 of the 9 u clip connections on the new bumper and screw holes all line...
Car is at shop but they are figuring out what to do first. They have PP pan on hand as well and will first try the existing base pan, but the issue is when we manually test fit the PP pan to the bumper, it did not seem to have any possible tuck into the splitter section of the new bumper...
It just arrived, I would say lead time was 5 weeks.
Will have it installed within two weeks. will let them keep the car for better paint matching
It came with the install kit of bolts / clips etc. No instructions though, but should be straight forward.
Was well packaged and intact so far...
Either way post your results once you get it and install it and if it has different instructions such as actual bolts as well? the stalker side skirts require bolts yet is advertised same as "easily installs with 3M tape" so perhaps this kit may have more to it than just adhesive, no photos...
Seems to say only 3M tape, Those types of kits really need to be drilled into (of course cannot see the screws since they are located on bottom)
Also need to kinda tack on the stalker side splitters onto the stock rocker panels to really match the accent. It will look a bit off with just...
