A lot of the users I see that were able to do the update, allowed the USB stick to remain in the slot for about 30-60 minutes... even if it said it was done... so it could be that it's done with a module, but has more to do... so I'd say put your USB stick back in and run the car for another 30...

For me, AA Wireless would be cool... BUT... it would have to co-exist with Sync, not take over as it does now. AA for maps is better, but I don't always need to use it, so I use the built in, but phone calls and texting via AA is way better...

Looks like those with Sync 3 3.0, there is a new update . SYNCGen3.0_3.0.19205_PRODUCT 8 files for me and 2.3G , so it's a big one owner.ford.com . (and I've read the Lincolns get one too)

I've seen a lot of others that have this same issue... I'm betting that it has something to do with how Ford keeps the BT connection... Just today, my Sync 3 3.4 didn't even know my phone anymore... I believe the .xml file that you upload is more for you seeing if there is ever an update beyond what you just did... So if you just got 3.0 18093, and a few months down the road there is a 18101 (I'm making up numbers), it'll tell you, or if 3.3 is ever available for your setup...etc.... Ford...
