Thanks for the pic!
I'm not really averse to plastic impellers in general though I am aware of certain cars having problems in initial runs with them.
Have there been problems with plastic impellers in the Coyote engines?
Glad you are ok, sorry about your car.
If you have the instruction/installation manual it should tell you everything you need. Everything it says to remove/modify to install/replace with the Roush parts, you will need.
Basically go through the install manual in reverse to be able to identify...
Thanks for the side by side!
Aisin is part of the Toyota group of companies and usually GTG.
There is a Ford Performance waterpump that supposedly has a larger GT350 spec impeller, very curious about that one. Only ever saw one guy post here about trying it and he reported a small but...
I would replace those, very much past their best. Especially considering the car they are on.
On a related note I am recommissioning a 90's-era car and have driven it with everything from brand new to ancient tires in the process.
The 10-plus year old tires on it were definitely harder and...
Yup, basically attempting to start the vehicle whether via pushbutton or physical key, power disappears when it attempts to crank.
Maybe check for power at the supply line to the fuse box next time it happens. If there is power, probably fuse box. No power, go downstream (battery terminal?).
All power gone after twisting the key, then tapping or jiggling the wires bringing power back, could be a dodgy battery terminal or terminal to wiring connection. Seen this lots of times on many cars, and hope it's just that in this case.
I do recall a post here by a member who bought a never-titled S550 a few years after it was produced (3 years or so IIRC). I seem to recall it turned out his warranty counter began only under his use and he was able to discover this and make use of it to get some problems with the car covered.
@engineermike ,
You must have really taken time to fiddle with it to find the conditions to make it work, love the detail you go into these threads!
I do understand you are freeing up torque that Ford limits in certain situations. Can you explain to a noob like me what "2-step" is and...
Well, I guess this is one less thing we have to wonder about now.

I find it interesting that the value fluctuates so much the further from #1 you are.
Of course #1 of anything often commands a premium, but aside from that all things being equal, in other cars just being part of that limited production run gets you around the same value no matter what number...
Are you aware that there are people in this world that have a severe medical condition which causes them to be that way? My mother for instance is one of those people. She is a truck driver that has bad knees and a bad back from driving the truck but you probably do not care about that case...
