  1. What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

Replacing all the important relays in the fuse box (which is pretty much all of them lol). Done with all the big 4-pin ones, waiting on the 5-pin for the radiator fan (FC2) to come in. The new relays are slightly bigger and heavier than the old ones. I hope it translates to reliability!
  2. TPMS sensors from Costco: they sell "Dill" branded sensors

Motorcraft is about $40 each, Schrader and other similarly recognizable replaceements around half that, on Rockauto. I dont know how much install will run though. Just suggesting other options to look into.
  3. 2015 gt infotainment system

What system do you have currently? What are you looking for your new system to do that that your current system doesnt?
  4. Strange part😐

Gearbox oil change at 40000 cant hurt the car IMO. I did mine at 30000 and the fluid was not really red anymore and there was some stuff on the magnets but nothing alarming. Factory fill looks to have life yet but you are removing break in crap. Trans was shifting normally before and after...
  5. Switch from BMR CB005 to BMR CB762 to Reduce NVH

OP, I'd be interested to see which you go with. The GT is a GT for me, so although I did ask about stiffening the rear and gotten lots of great advice, I ultimately decided to keep it stock for the meantime. I did see from the research I did that a member mentioned the Whiteline inserts had...
  6. New guy

Congratulations! Nice rides you have there! I think letting the community know what kind of driving your Mustang will see, will get you plenty of suggestions in the right direction.
  7. High Speed Fan Issues

Nice! So what does it look like so far? Did it look like the relays were involved?
  8. High Speed Fan Issues

What module actually commands the fan? Can you access it and command it to turn the fan on, via scantool or Forscan, to check the module is working?
  9. High Speed Fan Issues

Hope its as simple as that. Good luck!
  10. Unofficial Off Topic Thread

Nice to hear firsthand info! The discussions in other places were saying well, cant be that bad considering how stuff was back in the day lol. Here's a vid by a shop building one of the China Landcruiser bodies.
  11. High Speed Fan Issues

Yes you are correct, I misremebered and added a pin each lol. I am actually in the process of replacing all the relays myself. They seem to like to stick. Horn, defroster, and wiper have been acting up and swapping relays have gotten them working. I noticed the newer relays have a different...

From the discussions I've read on these China replicas, EPA regs are a big reason there isnt much activity on that front in the US.
  13. High Speed Fan Issues

Maybe check the 3 fan relays in the fuse box. Someone here kindly explained how the system works and symptoms of failure of each relay and IIRC that was one of them. EDIT - I just swapped relays around to test, 2 of the fan relays are 5-pin and one is a 6-pin. Lots of same relays in the fuse box.

For these types of parts by accounts I've read and my own limited experience, nothing beats OEM for fitting right with no fuss. For older Mustangs, I've read that even the Ford-licensed Dynacorn body parts made in the USA are not at the level of Ford OE in terms of quality and fitment. There...
  15. Tire suggestions 2026

Interesting! I need to compare the tread. Wouldnt be surprised if so, Bridgestone RE003/4 Adrenaline are Firestone Indyhawk 500's in the USA. Nice Holden!
  16. Looking for some pictures of strut nut depth

Ahhh, I get it now, thanks for taking the time to clarify! I agree, I think it should be easy and cheap to R&R your plates if you have access to the equipment to press the bushings and straighten the plate.
  17. Looking for some pictures of strut nut depth

Thanks for posting your resolution! Just to clarify, do you mean that replacing the spring seat isolator with bearing was causing the noise, and replacing those with the new ones you got at the dealer solved the suspension noise you had @blankman ?
