Sounds like how my stock transmission was, 99% of the point of getting my first tune was to fix the issues with the transmission. No clue why a tuner would sell a tune without changing anything in the transmission, makes no sense
What's funny is in my area they do it during rush hour, and all the cars slamming on their brakes trying not to get pulled over causes a giant slinky effect on traffic and now suddenly we have huge traffic jams with no wrecks just because there's a cop sitting on the side of the road
You'd know immediately if you were in limp mode, it is the speed/rpm/gear limited. If you aren't in limp mode then I doubt that is CHT sensor, unless it's reading ambient
Kinda depends on how you look at it, from a peak hp and torque perspective yes. But there are other things like reducing or eliminating torque management that are less measurable on a dyno but will show up on ET
I would not run shitty TI pumps without a pressure gauge, they are known to fail and with a twin pump set up there is no way to know when they fail until you're WOT and have no pressure unless you install a light or something
Weird, according to him his issue started with a tune, did yours do it before the whipple? Obviously less traction with a whipple but his is kicking in only on in 6th gear on a stock car. That's does not seem like normal function to me
Maybe I've just had 3 unicorn cars
