Did HRE introduce a new "flow form" wheel design at the SEMA show? Did I just dream up all the promises and anticipation for many weeks leading up to the show? Now, the show is over and I can find nothing on this site or elsewhere including HRE's own website.
The Vossen Wheels website lists seven widths available in the 20-inch diameter version of the VFS-1 INCLUDING 20" X 9.5". If that is the size you want, it appears you are good to go.
According to the Vossen Wheels website, the VFS1 is available in three different concave design profiles--"flat", "mid" and "deep". Which of those design profiles is shown in the installation pics at the top of this thread?
Is it realistic to anticipate that the VFS1 will be available in a 19-inch diameter (9-0 or 9-5 front and 10-0 or 10-5 rear widths in the graphite finish) during early-2015? I love the design but the 20's are a wee bit big for my taste. I believe I could learn to accept the look of the 20's...
IMO the 18" foundry wheels are far and away the best OEM choice for the V8 Mustang GT. The iconic All-American muscle car needs wheels with that same identity, not a ho-hum generic web design or a Euro style better suited to a BMW or Audi.
If you willfully take to the public highway on your summer tires in sub-freexing temps and you are involved in a serious collision and folks are injured, you will have serious liability issues.
With a hot new model like the 2015 Mustang, dealers will be inclined to make deal concessions grudgingly. I would focus on whittling down the price and trade my P Zeros for a set of Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3's at my local Michelin dealer.
