I'm assuming you have the same gauge cluster as me that has readouts for Cylinder Head Temperature, as well as Engine Oil Temperature below that.
I use this as my guide, I won't get on it before the Engine Oil Temp reads "Normal", which is typically at 178-180 degrees F.
You can actually watch my cars dyno pull on VMP's Facebook page

A bit of weird editing, cause the car they used for the stock pull footage is not mine. But the actual pull after the supercharger is mine.

Done on a Dynojet in Central Florida heat and humidity. Not sure what time of day so can't say for sure the conditions. 93 octane
780 RWHP
Threw a P0430 code post supercharger install. Figured my cats were in the process of melting, so I installed long tube headers.
Also got some nice sticky Michelin Pilot Sports
Pretty much every gas station in my area has 93 octane. E85 on the other hand is still pretty rare. Closest E85 station from me is a 20 min drive completely out of the way of anything
Well that's good to hear. I spent some time last night while the engine was cold turning the car onto accessory mode and listening to the intercooler pump to see if I heard any cavitation, burping it, and then ended up filling it to just below the max line. Took it for a short drive and the...
Did you ever wind up with this not leaking? I had a puddle of the intercooler coolant on my garage floor the other day. Took it back to the shop that did the install and they pressure tested it and looked for leaks. Didn't find anything. All the did was replace the actual cap. I drove it a bit...
I typically don't let it run so low. More or less snuck up on me. But definitely a good idea to pay more attention considering the fuel pump is running at higher voltage now.
Had a weird issue right after doing a pull on an empty road. Did two WOT pulls from 4k-7k rpm or so, didn't go to red line on either one. After the second pull, I started braking and put the clutch in to get ready for the upcoming stop and turn. I noticed the revs dropping to 500, and then down...
I can definitely say it wouldnt fit with a stock hood. The whipple leaves an imprint with the hood insulation, so a strut tower brace would probably damage the hood/prevent it from closing.
Hello,
I have been having this issue for a few months now, and wondering if anyone has experienced the same thing.
Whenever I start my car up after a while and start to brake (usually at the first stop sign in my neighborhood), the pedal/brakes have this weird behavior where there's a second...
I have the same luck as you, if not worse. The day after mounting and installing four new wheels and tires on my Mustang, I picked up a nail in the sidewall of my rear tire. Can't repair it, needed to replace it. $283 down the drain. About 6 months later I got a nail in my other rear tire and...
2018 GT with 25,000 miles on it, no issues with the transmission so far.
As the other commenters have said, it's not a refined transmission by any means, but it seems to be relatively robust.
