I'll always remember when I was in college driving my 1996 Mustang GT with flaking clear coat and faded red paint, a guy in a brand new Charger (This would have been around 2010-2014) pulls up next to me at the pump and started asking me for money. I just couldn't believe someone in a brand new...
I prefer stripe-less for pretty much every vehicle on the road, including Mach 1, GT500, GT350, etc. But I also don't like badges either, so really I just like a clean look overall.
I have them on my 2018 GT Supercharged. I only bought them out of necessity (cats failed after boost). While this is subjective, to me they were EXTREMELY loud with my AWE Touring Catback. I put the stock exhaust back on, and it was much better. I did not do the install, but the shop that did...
Drained coolant, filled with distilled water and Radiator Flush, ran it for about 30 mins. Drained the water out, then topped it off with the new Motorcraft Yellow.
What do you want me to tell you? The tires will chirp on fast shifts, and I'm not launching at 5k rpm...but I'm certainly not losing control and driving into my local crowds/trees...
I'm at 780WHP on my VMP Stage 3 Supercharger, which is based on the Whipple Supercharger.
I definitely recommend 305 minimum on the rear tires, so I would spring for 19x11s. I hook up perfectly with the Michelins.
Outside of that, the only supporting mod I did was the catless LTH. My cats...
I have the same catless headers. Just go back to stock exhaust. I hated the sound of my car after the catless headers, it was just so obnoxiously loud.
My coworker was the one revving the motor, so he wasn't really pushing the RPMs too much. But you can definitely hear it. Maybe because the VMP has a smaller pulley?
