Sorry man. The current dealer system is so broken. I had one salesman I was going to give my business to when I test drove a month ago and he's already gone. The turnover in this "industry" is unreal. Meanwhile the guy who replaced him is sending me emails about used cars (1995 Blazer Low...
Pretty normal I think. My G37 was like that, basically had to be at a standstill to downshift into 1st. But my BMW could care less, I can shift into 1st at like 10-15 without any difficulty at all.
You did the right thing in at least going in to the dealer once, now it's documented. I worry about the folks that have the same mindset and never do go in, then something breaks and some moron hick mechanic says "hurrr you abused it" and now they're out 4k for a new tranny or a lawsuit in...
OP, sorry you're missing a trim panel from your interior, but come on, it could be worse. They'll order it, snap it in, and you'll be good. It isn't the end of the world. Look around the forum. People have transmissions grenading. LE cars built with regular front bumpers. Manual cars built with...

How long did you drive the auto? If only for a short test drive I would suggest finding your nearest rental agency and picking one up for a few days. Because I've driven great autos (Porsche PDK, VW DSG, BMW's ZF8) and the 6R80 is nowhere close. It's okay, and I'm going with it because I think...
How long is the lease? If it's for 36 months, the numbers are WAY off. If I plug your numbers into a lease calculator I get roughly $300/mo with tax included.
Plug your numbers in here and see what you get. 387 makes no sense.

Woof. Sucks man. One good thing though, the non metallic black should be easy to match so it should be easy for a good shop to match the paint... shouldn't look much different than it did when it was new.
