Get something which has already depreciated but is still front engine RWD that you don't mind crashing. Then put snow tires on it and have a ton of fun. If you curb it, then scrap it and get another.
Compared to a C7 the mustang is a slower car. By the numbers a GT IS faster than 98% of the cars on the road (not models, but cars by volume) but the curve in that top two percent is extremely steep.
Regarding price, the aforementioned base terminator would come in at a bit more than $45,000...
I would really like to, but from what I've read they all leak eventually. The silly thing about this is that lots of higher end cars (and Chevy's) come with factory exhaust bypass valves that don't leak. If anyone knows of an OEM-quality cutout, I'm all ears.
I understand that in Germany it is opposite. Rare to see an AMG or BMW M with it's badging. It's considered ostentatious. I'd much rather a debadged car, branding isn't sexy to me.
A loaded focus is going to be several thousand more than a V6 Mustang. You are talking about a focus SE or a V6 Mustang. The stang is a much nicer car per dollar and that 3.7L is a damn decent engine, but the Coyote is a phenominal engine.
6MT driver here. You can start the car and get out with the fob in your pocket. The car does NOT lock itself, however you can use the key fob to lock the doors.
I had another push button start car that would not let you lock the car while running if the fob was outside the vehicle. Really...
According to a sample of 1,800 V6 Mustangs sold the lowest price was $21.1 but it should be no problem finding one for $21,750. If you don't have kids I think the Mustang V6 is a much nicer car than a Focus. But that's just my preferences.
Here's the write-up for California:
"Starting at the top, California Highway Patrol statewide, utilizes radar, laser and airborne systems to determine speed. CHP is also allowed to "pace" cars for 1/4 mile to calculate speed, and you may be cited by pacing only. They typically pace for 1/4...
The V1 is the best all-around detector for the money, no doubt. The Redline or Wire-Bonded Magnum with RDR-off is going to have further detection range, which is why I run the V1 and a Magnum. If you're really feeling baller, the Stinger VIP is the best detector currently available in terms of...
Not sure how many V1 users we have here, but I figured I'd post this up for anyone who want's to use a concealed display with their V1 - mine is a custom color LED concealed display.
This little blank panel that bridges the gap between the two gagues in front of the TFT display...
My car is silky smooth up to 77-80 mph. From there to about 90 it's a floorboard vibration that would send coins dancing, then back to being smooth on up to triple digits (professional driver on closed course, do not attempt).
Well shit, add me to the list. My vibration is between 77-90mph but I have 3.31 gears, so that would make sense if the vibration is on the shaft or pinion. I have an appointment this Friday to drop the car off.
Will keep you guys updated. Hey FordService do you guys want to let my dealer...
Vibration in car between 80-90 mph. Same in vibration in any gear. Assumed wheels were out of balance, but got new wheels and tires and there was no change in the vibration, so that pretty much leaves an imbalanced driveshaft. No vibration in the steering wheel - felt through the seat and floor.
