No surprise. We know hundreds here are awaiting the 2015's.
Supply may be great in some places and not others. They've completed building 2014's, right? Well anyway... my "local" dealer has no Mustangs on the lot. They had 1 last week, but it's gone and they have 2015's on order.
The dealer I...
Sadly, they're probably very close.
As we said, most... you may also prefer vanilla ice cream over chocolate or strawberry...
The whole price difference thing is what you're doing right here... the M costs nearly 20k more than the Mustang GT in max form excluding convertible. If you want to...
There's little chance the EB will run alongside the 370Z in a short term sense. If any does, it will be the performance package and that may do very well on track day.
Even if the 8spd tacks on another 2 grand... Hellcat is a seriously good deal at MSRP.
I also don't think it's a 1 trick pony, but it simply does 1 trick best, just like the others. It doesn't do the other tricks wonderfully unless size is considered and against most RWD V8 cars, it's really...
Then again, 0-60 is really a rare concern for pony car drivers anyway. We tend to care about drag racing or road track results... plus skid pad, stopping and so forth. 0-30 and up is cool and all, but most of us don't brag about 60mph. Instead, it's the 1/4mile.
Pretty much. So far, along with a few level heads, it's looking like a boat load of wishful thinking, like the hp numbers as well as the weight numbers.
The new Mustang will have 15hp more and weigh nearly 100 lb more... 15hp doesn't usually offset 100 lb to the point of better performance. The...
That's why I was laughing Norm! Most people don't want to be that fast, so an everyday Mustang will do wonders for them. That came together perfectly! :D
Not all that long ago, the average auto enthusiast didn't even know the power level of the average performance car... today, we expect a parade of information... It's kinda funny! :p
So do most of us. I don't, but I do read slow! :D
How serious do I need to be? I actually have an 8 second car... which sits in the same spot as it has since... :headbonk:
That's why... RACE CAR!
So... later this year. On that note: Aside from the way upper end cars, the 15 Mustang...
I don't really see any differences between painted and cleared and I'm fairly convinced that all painted wheels today are also clear-coated. For my money, if it's getting anything other than polished and cleared, I'd prefer enamel. Everything chips and peels compared to that! Even when it does...
What if ... you only wanna run 10's in your daily driver? How about if you also want navigation or A/C or to be able to tune it for the drag strip, road course or street on the same day ... w/o visiting a shop? There are many reasons to want your daily driver to be very quick rather than to go...
It wouldn't surprise many if Ford rated it at anywhere between 425 and 450... and we found that it made 380ish at the wheels. Anywhere in that area would equate to being underrated.
I'd rather polished aluminum wheels, period. Properly taken care of, they'll last fine and they're lightweight enough in general, plus they look good. If painted, when the paint comes off due to corrosion underneath, it's a mess. Till then, they look great.
Keep in mind, the Mazda6 is FWD and that makes the front end heavier... Mustang weight bias will be at least close to 50/50 and it's bound to handle far better than the 6 anyway.
The way you ordered sounds good to me, not having tons of things to fidget with and there's only 1 thing I'd have...
Hmm... I guess I could add it to the EB, but it would've been better if Ford had simply done it with all EB and GT's or at least been thoughtful enough to make it an option for any Mustang... after all, if I can do it in my garage, it's not like Ford would have a problem doing it on the assembly...
Nice video... Car doesn't seem all that loud to me and certainly not as loud as "every" other Mustang on track. The one resembling a '65 Shelby was louder(and deeper pitched) to my ear. Perhaps it was a different car... it was loud though.
Maybe Ford has a cutout on the new Mustang GT? ???
