Yeah, but I always thought the definition of rice was a slow car dressed up in a cheesy way to appear fast.
But the S550 IS a fast car...so isn't dressing it up to the owner's discretion NOT rice? I mean, even a v6 Mustang these days is a pretty fast car.
I personally would go for the Boss. It's a more special, rare car. I would especially get it over a 2015 because the 2015 is a regular, run of the mill GT. On top of that, I don't really trust first year model cars.
5K miles is seriously low and practically brand new.
TBH, I just as many hicks driving old BMW's, Civics, pickups than hicks who drive old Mustangs.
You don't see any hicks (least where I'm at) driving a 2005 and newer Mustang. In fact, usually the only ones I see driving Mustangs around here are younger professional guys, chicks (with the v6's)...
This.
This forum is hilarious. Most people here have never driven an older model Mustang and yet put it down based off shat they read about the prior car (S197) on the internet instead of driving it themselves. That's why it's hard to take people's opinion's here seriously because of that...
Yeah unless you are literally using the jaws of life to change radio stations, I've always found the buttons and paint Ford uses to be quite adequate.
I've seen the paint peel off my friends/familys newer luxury cars (BMW is notorious for this!) than I have on the Fords I've been in. Just...
Yeah that pre-2010 interior's were pretty different. Premiums back then was just the Shaker system, leather seats, and the MyColor gauges. The rest of the interior was just ghetto, hard plastic.
But then again, back then, nobody really seemed to care. As long as a car has the modern...
This was the comment that made me laugh. I've had plenty post 2000 Mustangs and have never ever experienced buttons that peal or break. In my Sn95's and my 2012 GT, this has never been the case.
You can tell that this was written by a rando who knows nothing about cars.
It wasn't really a review. Just "oh its a Mustang so its fast n stuff, herp derp".
Go with
A) The dealership willing to give you the lowest price
B) with the car you want
C) with a dealership who you trust to do work on your car (unless you do it yourself).
People outside of G6  But yeah, even I don't really like the front end of the new car very much myself. It just feels like a giant hole in the grill with the tiny ass Mustang horse.
