Yeah I didn't like the Recaro's at all. Just weren't very comfortable and I use the car as a DD so they wouldn't even be considered.
The seats themselves were very nice, the standard leather seats. Very comfortable.
I know! I'll have to do that soon. I live near the Ford dealer in Falls Church and I see a ton of 2015's on the lot that seem to be not even moving so I'll schedule a test drive this weekend. I'm curious to see how it feels.
SO I actually got a chance to sit in it this weekend at the DC auto show. Maybe I need to drive it. But I wasn't WOW'd enough for me to upgrade to the new car...yet. I admit, it's definitely nice and a step up from the 12 premium I have, but me and my gf didn't really notice the big difference...
Yeah I wouldn't get this color for the same reason.
I was at the car show in DC and saw the BMW with the light colored seats and the seats were stained blue due to the jeans. That's crap, imo.
As long as you have his insurance info, you're fine. The only sucky part is waiting for the parts to come in.
Yes, I would be livid. But, at least you got the guys info and at the end of the day, it's a car that can be fixed. Might even be able to upgrade your bumper to something better...
So premier only comes in black? Not that awesome dark saddle color?
I was looking around at some 15's, but I can't find any dealerships that have cars with the 68B option.
I've seen a total of maybe 4 S550 model Mustangs on the road, and I live in the DC area!
But, not surprising, since I hardly even see any 11-14 GT's anywhere. (a ton of 11-14 v6's, though)
I don't agree with this statement at all. In fact, I downright laughed at this statement. For 36K, you're still getting a helluva bargain. You have a 435 hp car that handles as well as cars that are twice as expensive in it's class, with a nice interior and exterior.
That's the one thing...
Kinda makes me wonder why they are willing to ditch the V6. It's still a relatively new engine and makes great power/mileage. Funny that they won't upgrade the interior.
The Washington show is really good. They have a downstairs floor that's dedicated to all gens of Mustangs from 1964-present, as well as the new one on display.
Hopefully, they'll let us sit in the new Mustang this year. Last year, it was roped off.
I don't have a 2015, but I have a 5.0. And when I use regular 87, I noticed that the car idles roughly when at a stoplight or in stop and go traffic. I've noticed that the engine runs much smoother while using 93 so I only stick to 93 premium now.
Yeah, a reason why I wouldn't mind owning a 03-04 Cobra or even a Mach 1. There's something special about that Spartan, plasticy interior that you can't beat somehow. Can't really explain it.
You sound a lot like me. Yes, follow this man's advice. Use the car now, get yourself through college, then save up for a new car when you're financially ready.
This.
Two different markets. The FRS is meant to be affordable yet lightweight. I almost laughed when someone mentioned the cheap interior...since when did people with sporty cars because interior snobs anyway? If it had a nice interior, the weight would surely suffer.
Yeah I own a 2012 5.0 Prem. I thought about a 15, but it doesn't make sense to upgrade yet to the 15. the 16-17 upgrades might be worth the wait.
Sadly, if the ecoboost gets a bump in power to around 340-360 hp, I would snatch that in a heartbeat. The ecoboost is really getting me to...
This.
You already have a nice car (well, decent, and it's semi new). Most college kids drive cars made around the time you were born.
Save up, and when you get out, you'll have enough saved not only for a newer Mustang, but not the v6 but a v8 variant.
