Follow up here once you drive them for a while and let me know how you like them. This is one of the few tires also made in a 345/30/19 so Im considering them next go round

They certainly look good and better than my 255/40/19’s on 10’s but I can see those sidewalls are still Mildly stretched, but they look really good.

GT350 owner here...I do not recommend PS2 for any pony car unless it is specifically used for tracking. The tire sucks for street use. It trams all over grabbing every imperfection on the road and wears out way too fast. It is terrible in the wet and if temps drop to 40 or lower it is way too dangerous. 4S is a much better option

A Sport Cup 2 is going to be wider than most, 9.5" Meanwhile something like a Conti DWS is only 9.0" wide

Something we completely agree on, lol ;). Correct, there is no industry standard and two tires of the same size will fit completely different; night and day.

Too late, lol. (350 owner also) The 4S is not even neaaarrrr as sexy as this tire tho, so sometimes you gotta make sacrifices;)

I don’t outright disagree, but only to preface this thread is about the Cup 2 connect, which is a 240 TW tire; which makes a difference. A little over 100 miles on mine now, including freeway and there’s zero tramlining. Zero. Solid as a rock. Amazing turn in/mid turn response. The 240 will make a significant difference in life span also. Not saying life span will be significant, I’m saying it’ll be much better than a traditional 180 TW cup 2. The way I use this car and the annual mileage, I’ll be ready for new tires by then anyways. Sure, I don’t want this tire in a torrential downpour, but this car will never see “planned” rain. Deal with that when we get there.

I did significant homework and consideration how I use my car before selecting this tire. There’s a few reports out on the tire, not a lot but a couple (and again, make sure you’re watching reviews on the connect 240), and the consensus seems to be almost an opposite swap from the traditional cup 2 in that this tire is 80/20 street/track.

So far, couldn't be hapier. I have about 150 miles on them, but they're smooth (what brand new tire isn't), but very stable. Turn in and response is crazy sharp. Nothing but on ramps, but very confidence inspiring when pushed around those. Headed to the mountains via 500 mile road trip next weekend on them. Not disappointed. I was realistic about what I was buying anyways, so being disappointed was highly unlikely.
