I recently purchased a donor complete pumpkin from a GT Mustang with PP, so I have a 3.73 Torsen rear end to install.
Anyone have recommended tools to buy or services to perform for the job?
My plan so far is to get a motorcycle scissor jack as I've been reading about on the forums, putting it on a creeper, and using that to position the new pumpkin in place when it comes time for replacement.
Is there anything else to account for that I should be doing? I'm going to reuse my existing axles until they fail, change the fluid after the differential is installed, else it seems like this is a pretty straightforward swap.
I was also thinking of changing out the axle seals and bearings since the Ford Performance kit (M-4413-B) seemed so inexpensive.
Any recommended tools to buy for the seal replacement service or installing of the differential?
