MACH 1 non HP spacer dilemma – looking for feedback from those running OEM wheels. I don’t want different wheels.

I have a stock 2023 MACH 1 on OEM wheels and Michelin PS4S tires, and I’m trying to decide whether spacers are worth it and, if so, what size makes the most sense.

I took some measurements from the outer fender to the wheel/tire:

Front

* Tire sidewall: 10 mm inside the fender
* Wheel lip: 19 mm inside
* Top of tire to fender: 28 mm

Rear

* Tire sidewall: 12 mm inside the fender
* Wheel lip: 18 mm inside
* Top of tire to fender: 28 mm

Additional measurements:

* Hub centric lip protrusion: 10 mm
* Wheel studs: 30 mm
* Wheel pockets on the back side: 6 mm deep
* OEM lug nuts currently engage about 12 full turns

My concern is that the common spacer sizes all seem to have compromises:

* 3 mm: preserves ~7 mm of hub lip and still leaves roughly 10 turns of engagement.
* 5 mm: probably the largest spacer I’d be comfortable running on the OEM studs, but only leaves ~5 mm of hub lip.
* 8-10 mm: visually appealing, but I’m concerned about both hub engagement and lug engagement.
* 15-20 mm hub-centric: mechanically cleaner in some ways, but I’m not sure how well they work with the OEM wheel pockets and whether they end up pushing the wheels too far out.

I am not trying to achieve a poke/aggressive fitment. My goal is simply an OEM+ look with good centering, no vibration issues, and no compromises in safety.

For those running OEM wheels:

1. What spacer size did you end up with?
2. Any vibration or centering issues?
3. Did you keep the factory studs?
4. If you had to do it again, would you choose 3 mm, 5 mm, or go straight to a hub-centric setup?

I used 35 MM spacers up front to run a 305 squared setup.. I do leave them on with stock tires though. It pushes them out to the edge of fender.
I do have longer studs on the front hubs to do this setup. I also use lug nuts from same company. I do not use a security lug.
I have not had a problem with them.. Car is mainly used for HPDE track events.

Not clear what you’re trying to accomplish…
Look only or better handling ?
If you keep the oem wheels, you’re are stuck with the tire sizes that you’re using now
A few millimeters wider track is not going to make a noticeable improvement in handling
So if it’s look only, go for whatever you like

If you keep the oem wheels, you’re are stuck with the tire sizes that you’re using now
A few millimeters wider track is not going to make a noticeable improvement in handling
So if it’s look only, go for whatever you like

I would like 15 mm front, 12 mm rear, longer studs. But, since the hub lip is 10 mm, I can’t find info on slip on spacers that preserve a centering lip piece.

I've used several different spacers over the years then came across Bonoss spacers. They are extremely heavy duty and will custom make any thickness you want from 3mm to 160mm. Great customer service. For your 2023, they have AL6061-T6 and AL7075-T6 versions. Both have grade 12.9 studs and grade 10 nuts. 10 year warranty. Give them a call and discuss exactly what you want.

been debating doing this with HP wheels. Even though we have the fender lips i feel theres a smidge left to go for a trully flush appearance.
