I agree that often these "you tube influencers" are all slanted toward promotions and initiatives by the manufacturers... look at Stang Mode as a prime example.... YUCK!Chris is a great guy, but he's part of the Ford influencer program and any claims that the DH is worse than the GT350 flies in the face of the "Friends of Ford" initiative that is designed to drive new car sales and not used car sales. I take any and all comparisons from him with the understanding that his exclusive invites to experiences and vehicle launches are tied to favorable responses and reviews of Ford's current production vehicles for sale today.
I should have prefaced my posting of that video with a comment on how the disposition of BOTH drivers changed once they got into the GT350.
There is or may never be another raw experience like the 350 as these cars become more "refined".
That is the main reason I shared it.. not all of the specs comparison, although I think that part was very well done.
I am tired of the constant conversations around... "don't but a GT350 unless you have cash to replace the risky engine.. it might blow up at any minute" . I don't care what type of 50k+ sports car you own.. and yes, regular Mustangs are now in the 50+K range.. if you don't have the money to fix it out of warranty or you are driving it "scared' because its going to break...then you shouldn't own any sports car (at least not out of factory warranty). Anything can happen at any time. And if you tune it or mess around past stock often the factory warranty can be compromised. The guy in the video who owned the 350 was messing around with his (headers, etc) so not sure what his confidence level is in his ride.
