Once I am ready to upgrade, Ford made it really easy for me to look at a different platform altogether, thank you Ford!
Weird how a company expects loyalty to it but doesn't express the same to its customers.

Again, I get the s650 generation was a cheap way to navigate through uncertain times. But now that things are ripe for a resurgence, I sure hope they can pivot quickly. Because... dang.

I think you meant Dark Horse SC Track Pack?
I meant the GTD Track Pack (or how it's correctly called) that beat the ZR1X's Ring time?

But how would that cost less than the GTD?
I think it's a lot more expensive than the standard GTD. As I understand it robvas said, what doesnt cost less than a GTD?

Now I'm confused lol!

Meh, I dont see these doing to well its going to be another portfolio car for the super rich next to thr gtd, chevy is killing ford imo rite now I dont care what the ring time says chevy has a 1200hp awd twin turbo car that can runs 8s with a full warranty. Im obviously a big coyote fan but I dont see these cars doing that well

I don't think the ADMs will be as egregious and widespread as they were for GT350/GT500 Shelby cars. Maybe the first few available will have some markup, but it won't be rampant and probably won't last for long.

The S650 and Darkhorse just hasn't captured the hearts and minds.

This power jump is essentially what a GT500 makes with an intake. When they come out to buy pay another 10-12k for the carbon rotors and you got a bargain compared to this along with a lighter car

I think the other thing that is killing them is that there are an awful lot of coyotes with FI and similar horsepower that spent a lot less money.

LOL. Basically he was saying everything costs less than a GTD. Because the thing is already so expensive.

From dealerships with a warranty no less.

Watching StangMode put the hurt on a GTD with his whipped regular Dark Horse on YouTube for all to see doesn't help matters.

(Apparently the GTD wasn't fully broken in, but dang. It was not anywhere near close).

Agreed. I think they underestimated it. There’s no one who won’t buy it because it has the Shelby name, but there are plenty of people who won’t buy it if it doesn’t. Doesn’t matter if Shelby has involvement or not. It’s brand recognition 101.

iirc in blind taste tests people prefer 7/11 coffee to Starbucks. But the Starbucks brand is far stronger so perception drives the sales
