There’s no “programming” with metal valve stems. When I installed my VMS wheels I bought new OEM metal ones ($130.00) and they self learned within the first five miles.
Depends on which ones you buy. Some come programmable to support either 315Mhz or 433Mhz and YOU HAVE to program them to the correct freq in your car.

Understandable, but I believe they are only rated to 115 mph about's . What if you not in a wet salty environment?
Like Craig said, I have had more trouble with metal stems than rubber ones. Street and Track.

Never heard of a 115 mph limit. If they were only good for 115 surely the SCCA wouldn't allow them for track use. IIRC 3 out of my 4 sets of my wheels for the Spec Racer Ford (that often sees 120 +) have rubber stems on them.

If the limit was 115 surly putting them on 160+ mph Mustangs would be a huge class action lawsuit against Ford just waiting to happen.

They look nicer is their only significant advantage in my book.

Check post #6 , Kenny Brown Utube, also I checked NHRA rules and NHRAracer and information below . I didn't check any other Racing Sanctioned Body .
Agreed they do look more Professional and must have a grater safety factor if Required by NHRA . There is exceptions for TPMS , read your sanctioning body rules.
I'm a Drag Racer part time now , after 25 plus years in the Sportman racing series.
