Ok guys so I ordered the P51 R spec wheels and ps4s 305/30 front 325/30 rear in the beginning of Dec. The tires have been on back order since then. Now its looking like it’s going to be another couple months for the 325 rear tires. So I was going to switch to 295/305 but the 295 are also on back order. So my question is do you think the squared 305 set up on the R spec wheels will look and handle right?

They will work, look, and handle just great. However, I caution you about rushing into something you don’t want. Be patient and get what you really want. I like the staggered look and the slightly taller rear helps fill the fender a bit. I would wait and get what I want. Don’t compromise.

If they are P51’s and not fully forged than don’t use them on track with sticky tires. I have seen two crack on track; one had the wheel separate from the car.

Really nice looking rim for the street! Agree that the setup will look great square

I just got my 305's shipped. Only took 2.5 months from when ordered. Supposed to arrive tomorrow.

Just ordered Michelin Super Sport F: 295 /35 R19 SL and R: 305 /35 R 19 from discountiresdirect.com
Tires shipped already by FedEx.
I have Michelin Cup2s on my 2019 GT350 with little over 1K miles. If anyone need them let me know.

Yeah Len
I'm going the same route. These Cup 2's suck for everyday driving. All over the road.

I thought about running the Super Sport tires but with the wider wheels I think it would have to much stretch. I’m probably just going to wait for the ps4s.

The Super Sports are a perfect fit on the base 350. In fact, prior to 2019, the Super Sport was the OEM tire.

I've been running the 295/35R19's up front and the 305/35R19's on the rear since the day I left the dealership. Still have a full set of SC2's with less than 200 miles on them if anyone is near Phoenix and wants a great deal.

I'd be curious to some caparisons on the road from those who drove the PSC2s then switched to the PSS or PS4S. Quieter? Smoother? Better wet traction (although FP insists the PSC2s are equal to the PSS in the wet). I read less to no tramline behavior. I'd certainly expect longer life.

I’ll also add something I usually throw in on tire threads since tire threads in this community are sooo Michelin leaning. Contrary to popular belief, Michelin is not the end-all-be-all of tires for this car. Continental’s are amazing and IMO, fit and look significantly better than the current Michelin offerings. Just say’n. Don’t overlook other options.

Also, don't forget that wider fatter tires aren't always better. Billy Johnson has a nice article about running slightly smaller tires than commonly recommended around here for the best handling.

The SC2's and the stock brake pads got the 2019 incredible media praise.

The almost 200 miles from the dealer to the tire shop was a lot of fun. When I got to the shop I was amazed by the amount of rocks the SC2's had picked up and showered down the sides of the car. The rims were also yellow by then from the stock pads.

8600 miles later my Super Sports still look new. Swapped out the stock pads for Z26's because the brake dust was just too much.

I wanted OEM sizing on my tires and, other than the SC2's and the P-Zeros, the Super Sports were the only option. The 4S's aren't made in 305/35R19 and, the last time I spoke to Michelin, that size isn't on their six-month production plan. YMMV.

Totally agree. SC2's are not for normal street driving. These tires are so sticky they throw rocks from front tires to rear fenders damaging paint.
