The last two weeks my new GT350R has been getting prepped for my cross country delivery and drive from San Antonio to my Home in Portland
The guys at Relentless shine went above and beyond the call of duty. Install included PPF on the full front and rockers, ceramic coating on everything else and they even installed front mud flaps for me. Unexpectedly they had to help me out with my tire install when the dealer backed out of installing my tires.
Cameron Touch and his brother the owners of Relentless shine went to work to help me get the tires installed at Blackjack speed shop and even helped me ship the takeoffs back home! Stand up guys, I highly recommend checking them out if you live in the area.
My sales rep Kalahant Cebollero at Southway Ford really helped pull everything together remotely for me, including coordinating with Cameron getting the car to their shop and helping me out with the tires. Another great guy and I couldn't have pulled it off without him!
Here's a video of the delivery done by Kalahant with his drone:
So I met the team and my car on Tuesday- shook hands and hit the road... only to have a check engine light! Worse the car seemed to be in limp mode, I couldn't turn on the AC. Ugh... Well long story short I spent an unscheduled night in San Antonio while the car was being repaired at Southway Ford. The techs there did a great job of finding a very strange fault. The wire harness around the engine was installed improperly and was rubbing up against the serpentine belt, which cut into a few wires! The repair was time consuming but luckily I was able to leave this morning and hit the road to Roswell NM via Texas Hill Country.
West Texas
Google maps keeping me on track.
Beautiful New Mexico sunset approaching Roswell.
Tomorrow Albuquerque and Santa Fe
In the meantime these came to my house:
