Surprising that dealers are still ordering for stock. With the amount of commotion by people trying to get their hands on this car I would figure they would all be ordered to customer specs.

Yes you’d think. Now, when a customer walks in the door they’re likely to pay more adm.

And it makes sense because some dealers have been holding out on allocations. This could be why. They ordered it for themselves.

There are a lot of dealer orders out there. If I was a dealer with an allocation, I would order a loaded GT500 and slap a $10K ADM on it, put it on the showroom floor and wait for a buyer. I max out my profit on the car and get an additional $10K. I just ran across a dealer ordered VIN (1FA6P8SJ6L5501160) that was ordered on 9/9/2019, which tells me retail orders are no longer taking priority over stock orders. if they ever did.

Now all you have to do is coordinate the shipment between your dealer and the prospective receiving dealer.

Shoukdnt need to if they offered picking up, was my point

#132 is the first customer ordered car.
This is one of the Ford ordered cars. 1FA6P8SJ3L5500029 which is suppose to be delivered in 13 days.
I don't think we will be able to get any Window Stickers until customer ordered cars are in production.

My local dealer in Minnesota was asking 30k ADM so there it that.

Asking 30k is different from what they will get. I know a dealer that put a similar ADM on their 2019 R because he was keeping it for himself but wanted the car to create a buzz and get people in the door.

It is a car that Ford ordered, could be for VIP's, executives, employees, publicity, press, testing etc.
Majority of the car are for the USA, but some have been shipped to Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Antigua and Barbuda, Guam, Kuwait, Panama, Philippines, Qatar, St. Pierre and Miquelon and WDMO (Worldwide Direct Market Operations).

I wish I knew the answer to that question, I am in the same boat, I ordered my car early on 7/01 and I am still on material hold.

Looking up VIN's and researching what I find. It's a real pain in the hand to do. You know how it goes, you get an answer to one question and that answer generates 2 more questions.

A friend swears he saw a few employees driving past / leaving a big NJ dealership week.

As we know, a lot of reviews/testing happens in north nj

A lot of them have been produced, I don't know their delivery status. But, unless Ford is holding back delivery, I would assume some of them have been delivered.

Looks like my GT500 CFTP has been pushed back from the week of 10/14 to 11/4, according to Noah @ Ford Performance Info Center. Thanks Noah for the update.
