Why?

I parked out in the middle of nowhere at the far end of the gym parking lot and came back 90 minutes later to find this.
Can anyone explain this bizzare phenomenon? Before you ask... mine is the blue car.

That's why I don't bother parking way out in the middle of nowhere. It just attracts attention. I usually pick a place a couple of spots away from the edge of the crowd.

Same thing happened to me when taking my gf to dinner recently. Promptly went out and moved the car before the other driver even got out of their car.

People literally get jealous because they assume that you think you are better than them and your car is too nice to be mixed in with others.

It appears to be a GTI. He probably thought it was cool kid parking way out there. Maybe was trying to start a car show?

OK since no one else dared say I will. There is a DICKHEAD born every day. A friend of my had the same thing done to him right after completion of a full restoration of his 68 Bronco. Worse is the dickhead dinged his paint. Ken (RIP buddy, you aren't forgotten) weighed in at almost 270 before the cancer took hold of him. He was wearing a new pair of boots that day when he came out not only to find the car parked up next the Bronco but that the dickhead dinged the fresh paint as well. Ken commenced to climb on top of the old beater, got up on the roof and collapsed the roof clear down to the head rests. He then calmly climbed down, dusted off and drove away. How he didn't get caught I would never know. But he had parked out away from everyone like you had and there were tons of spots up close the dickhead could have parked in.
