I have a question about the Ngauge. Can I use on with the FRPP PP2? What info will it dispay? Is it only functional with an aftermarket tune?

Just curious. I see alot of people using them.

You don't need a tune on your car to use it. You can monitor tons of stuff and it is a good tool for data logging.

Yes, I use my Lund Ngauge to monitor even when I am on my HPT tune. IF you haven't already purchased a NGauge, get the HPT version. Will allow you more flexibility with tuners down the line. Lund has their version locked down, so once you get it you can only use them for a tune.

There’s about 100 different PIDS to choose from (at a guess) ranging from spark advance to MAF frequency to fuel level to throttle % or you could even express throttle in volts if that’s your thing....
You can make the display show up to 6 parameters of your choice using the “gauges” function.
The shift lights as most would call them can actually be configured differently Eg. Instead of tracing rpm, you could trace a different PID entirely and dictate which light comes on at which value. I haven’t played with that one myself but I’m pretty sure you could actually trace KR (Knock Retard) if you wanted to.
The real question is, what do you want to be able to see?

Does it connect to the OBD via Bluetooth?

So, if it's hard wired, then are those that are mounting them in the ac vent in the dash running the wiring through the vent duct? I would guess they would have to open a hole in the duct?

Very impressive mounting job. Probably not going to happen for me though. Just the thought of pulling the trim piece off... I know hiw those things usually end for me. And probably going to pass on the ngauage for now. Righr now need to focus on getting a go-pro mounted for up-coming track days (fingers crossed).
