For all the 2018-2019 guys, make sure you have the latest cal from last week.

Fixes a ton of stuff.

I am happy with the Whipple’s tune but tempted to try PBD. Don’t know if it’s worth it if it involves a lot of back and forth to get tune right. I spent a lot of money on my 96 GT and never could get it tuned right.

I ran a slightly tweaked whipple tune ( disabled CEL for headers/no cats and changed from global knock control to per cylinder control) and ran a best time of 10.734 at 131.75 on a 1.61 60 ft 93 octane with a bottle of Lucas oil octane booster 3.625 pulley. I've been closer to 133mph, but at a higher ET. MT ET street R radials set to 17 psi and leaving at 3500 rpm on the 2 step WOT box, no lift shift set to 240ms. My race weight is 4120 lbs.

Very nice- ...... Good times. I want to be consistent 10's on their tune. Did the kit come with just 1 pulley or 2?

Keep those quarter miles times coming - like to hear others.

Very nice. I'm getting ready to upgrade the pathetic 255's I am running out back so that I can enable the boost in 1st gear and see what I can do from there. What size tire are you running out back? Trying to get a feel for what the best width to go with. I am in the process of selecting new wheels and tires. Thank You!

PM me your email and I can send you the tune file in HP Tuners format and you can see which changes were made. You will need HP Tuners to edit the stock whipple tune.

I run the 305/45/17 ET Street R radial. I started with 28x10x17 Hoosiers with skinnies up front, but did not like the sway that inherently comes with running bias ply. I wanted to go radial from the get go, but talked myself out of it after everyone saying how you will 100% break stuff with a radial on a stick car. After coming across plenty of local racers who run the ET street R radial without issue , I did the switch and haven't been happier. It's much more convenient to drive to the track, air down, race, and then air back up for the ride home. Tires are mounted on race star 17x9.5. I was a little weary at first to put a 305 on a 9.5 wheel but, Terry from Beefcake assured me it would work fine, and has done so!

I also switched the 3.73 rear to 3.31 which makes launching much more easy. Also saves you from having to shift into 5th in the 1/4.

Kit came with 1 pulley, the 3.75. I ended up purchasing the 3.625 after I added the headers.

i have a 2108 10 speed auto but with stage 1 so i could keep my whipple warranty for at least 1500 miles and the car with whipple tune and just drag radials went 10.79 @133 10.73 @134 and 10.71 @134. thats 4 inch pulley 90 mm throttle body. the car has 1400 miles now and i have the stage 2 setup, just waiting on my tune from whipple.
