I didn’t even know there were two colors. I just asked for 20% tint. LolThanks ixfe. Is that the black or charcoal? Did you get to see both before choosing?
So sexayPics of the 20% tint...
I didn't know either until I started digging around on the link you sent me. Looking at your pic, I would have guessed black. I also found there's a reputable place in town that uses xpel tint. Never considered going with the brand, mainly cause I didn't know they made tint...but would make logical sense. Should be a top shelf brand to go with also.I didn’t even know there were two colors. I just sent a text to my tint guy to answer your question. He confirmed that he used BLACK film.
My guy gave me two options. Color Stable for $200 or Nano Ceramic XR for $350. Since they are both guaranteed not to fade or block cell, nav, or Bluetooth signals, I honestly didn’t see the point in paying $150 extra. The installer also told me that most of his customers go with Color Stable. He did say that Nano Ceramic is supposed to block more heat, but honestly it sounds like marketing spin to me. I could be wrong. I’m pretty sure the car will get hot inside no matter what I put on it.I did notice you went with the basic tint they offer...any particular reason? That the one your tint guy recommended?
Looks like you're at McDavid Ford in Fort Worth? Great people over that way. Got me an insane deal on my 18 GT!I've been pining for this car since I first saw one in early 2016. I've been desperate to own one since i first drove (and heard) one a couple of months ago. Today was the day I finally made it happen. I'm in shock.
In case you're wondering, I traded in a Chevrolet SS 6-speed manual (aka Holden Commodore). Sad to see that one go, but very excited for the beast I just parked in my garage. I have been on the fence between GT350 and ZL1... I'm not a Chevy guy or a Ford guy. I'm a "buy the best car for me" guy. After two consecutive SS sport sedans, the natural progression was an LT4 car, right? I became obsessed with 650hp. But something just didn't work for me on that car. I got all the way to the finance guy on Thursday on a new ZL1 before I walked out. Something just wasn't sitting well with me. That something was this damn Shelby I can't seem to shake. Today I finally decided to just "send it."
Here she is as they started her up and pulled her off the showroom floor.
Yep, you guessed it! The deal was fantastic. The follow up has been “meh” at best. I had to drove back there twice to get the splitter installed correctly, something that should have been done before I took delivery.Looks like you're at McDavid Ford in Fort Worth? Me personally wouldn't have it painted. I'd definitely do wrap. Looking forward to seeing you on the road around here. Here’s a question for y’all...
I’m digging the black accents on the car (wheels, rear panel, spoiler, tint, etc). I really wish it had the painted roof option form the factory....
Would you wrap it in vinyl or just go “all in” and have it painted?
