Leave the trickle charger connected while flashing and you should be OK. If it does not work, you know you can eliminate the battery voltage as the problem.

The voltage drop thing is no joke. It got to 50% last night and I tried it. ONCE... and it took it immediately back to 25%.

Why are these batts so low?

Mine was about 1/3 dry when I bought the car so I topped it off with distilled water. Guessing batteries don’t last as long when they are low on water.

It's a good idea to have a charger on your battery when flashing a tune. I've seen once too many times where someone bricked his ECU because the battery died while flashing....

In high 90 degree heat about 125 in sitting traffic was as high as mine gets. In 60’s never much over 85-90. Weird...

Yeah..so..

Battery was at 100% and left the charger on while I tried the down load process. Ngauge immediately again went to "BATT" warning and same deal as yesterday.

I put the JLT back on and started the car. Battery warning shut off. But as soon as you shut the car off the Nguage displays it again.

I think I have a cable issue or something is wrong with the Ngauge.

With the battery at 100% and with the charger on it... you may be on to something no reason you should get a charge related failure in that scenario.
