So I am trying to find a good shift light solution for the occasional drag strip visit.

I have a Premium model that seems to have a integrated "shift" light feature built in when headlights are on. Dash lights turn red at 6000 RPM to indicate that you are getting close to redline. Has anyone figured out how to adjust the RPM for this feature? It seems to be that would be a perfect shift light. Maybe using Forscan?

Here is a video showing it in action

Did you ever figure out if it can be changed?

No progress on this, no time dedicated to finding the answer as of yet

I’d like to add an aftermarket shift light too. Ive noticed the dash lighting up but I usually shift before that.

This has always intrigued me as well. I do like how it changes at redline, but when you set your gauges to be red, it doesn't change at all.

I did some searching and found this info:

Line 21 of the 2018-2019 TAB

I need to get Forscan and dig into what the settings look like on the 15-17's to see if it's similar to 18+. Maybe there's a line in there for our years as well.
