Just out of curiosity (and slightly OT) I remember that US model had 35w headlights but EU got 25w headlights... because german regulation imposes headlight washers for light above a certain power - and so we all got 25w headlights :)

Vlad, fact is that they weren't available in 2015-2017 so there was some reason. Don't think that Ford was happy to remove (they don't deactivate them, they completely removed leds) a signature feature. I don't know if you know _all_ the single EU country regulations, but it could be not allowed...

I don't know the details. I only know that my beloved mustang had those nice tribars mutilated, and the facelift had them working. They changed something needed for those EU regulations - or in the meantime regulations have changed! (don't think so..)

Ok, but Ford removed the leds from the tribar because they were not ENOUGH visible from the side to comply Eu regulations. with 2018- they modified tribars so they are MORE visible from the side, so to comply to some (IMHO stupid) regulations :)

Sure, but you probably aren't the European Union :D 2015-2017 EU Mustangs lack completely the leds behind tribars, using fog lights as drl. At the time I was really furious about that because we missed a signature feature showed in every brochure\videos for months. Ford had a hard time...

This was intentionally from Ford for the 2018 facelift, since the first "world\european" version had the tribars not visible from the side, and in most (or probably in all) euro countries they were disabled as drls.

There are no washer option from factory, but all mustangs imported to germany have the same requirements, so you should be able to find some info about that. Regarding headlight levelling, euro mustangs come with manual headlights adjustment. There is an adjust knob at the center of the...

IIRC in Italy you have to pay an additional 5000 euros yearly for 'luxury tax" :-O

It is the end of the mustang adventure in europe. It was here for only 5 years, but we are not the right country\place for fun cars.

Well you can speak that way because you live in the US.. there are some countries out there, especially european countries, that fight against powerful cars. When I had the Ecoboost I had to pay 1800 eur YEARLY for 'luxury tax'. Guys with the V8 (really few people in the entire country) pays...

The same in Italy.. so cancelling the ecoboost from the lineup means no more Mustangs around here.

Really??? So are they importing only GT, or nothing??
