Chevy HHR SS

Thinking about picking up a decent mileage used Chevy HHR SS for my daily driver. Anyone have any experience or know of people that have one? Hopping on HHR forum and some FB groups too in order to try and get a feel.

An uncle had one, and it was a pretty nice ride. For an HHR. Got good mileage and was generally agreeable, decent power and handling for a driver.

Beyond that, I'm with [MENTION=12069]Hack[/MENTION].

Mostly see old people with those.

Which engine are you considering ?
You do not want that 1.4 turbo .

They never came with the 1.4 turbo. The 2.0 LNF was/is a good motor, and everything on the HHR is cheap to fix. They are reliable, fast, and get decent mileage. For a grocery getter, they are decent.

Had a Solstice GXP with the 2.0. With a tune on the turbo, that thing would scoot. I loved it. A tune does wonders on those little turbo engines.

Had multiple Delta cars (2 turbo Cobalts, Ion Redline, supercharged Cobalt)

LNF reacts well with minor mods, cant speak to other items on the HHR.

Expect carbon build up on the intake valves like any other DI engine.

I want a manual panel, but not available in SS

Get a used C6 Vette.
