Without s tune, hard to say.

If the engine doesn't know what to do with the newfound freedom, you're leaving money on the table.

By simple let virtue of an easier breathing route, id say the car puts out about 489.1

After tune, I can see 505.0

Well joe and I are on the same page with JLT, headers and tune. I'm Hoping for 600+ flywheel hp. I'm not sure if he's going to run the E85 tune? but I plan to. I have a E85 Lund tune now and I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Going by the stock 526hp rating and his baseline of 466 that's about a 11.5% drivetrain loss. So if 600 is the magic number that's about 531 rwhp. If it's over that with a tune, JLT, headers and exhaust and fuel I'll be happy. Thoughts Joe?

My guess was ~35whp gain, but without the tune, it's so difficult to say. The cam timing will almost certainly need to be optimized, and that's going to take some fiddling.

Congratulations on snagging an awesome exhaust right out of the gate, Joe! You've barely even driven the car, and it's already a totally different animal. Both in sound and power.

I'm torn on the corn. I'd like to experiment with it. My "problem" is availability. It's available local to me and convenient, but what if I want to jump in the car an go for a road trip? Thats my problem.

After what I have seen today, I feel like 550 RWHP will be an easy accomplishment with E85, JLT CAI, full exhaust and a tune on the dyno I was on today. But keep this in mind. Roush uses a DynoJet and those are notoriously generous with HP numbers. When I bring the car back home it will be tuned on a Mustang Dyno. They are known for giving a much lower number. So, what I'm trying to say here is that dyno numbers are relevant, but they are also irrelevant. A Dyno is used as a tool to measure progress from a given point and to help your tuner get his calibration right.

Some tuners are starting to do Flex Fuel tunes. You may want to check into that. E85 has proven to give 25+whp, much more in some cases. Lethal gained 40whp at 7,900RPM over stock with E85, JLT, and cat deletes! It also increases the low end torque quite a bit.

As long as the dyno tuning has a before and after pull, we'll still have a nice idea of what's happened. Thanks for all that you're doing, and for sharing all this!

The Lund tuner I have is "flex fuel" run either without changing tunes! Awesome.

I'm just conservative on that front right now. I'm not willing to trust it. I'm also very uneducated about how they are doing it. Not throwing stones at all. I know those guys and they are very capable.

 Wait we could take our cars to Hennessy. His Dyno gives magic numbers. Yeah, yeah I have 800hp naturally aspirated hp with just basic bolt ons. Everything is bigger in Texas.
