You'll also get the real window sticker when your car arrives , assuming the dealer doesn't tear it off the window like they did with mine
I requested that mine was kept - it was still on the window when I picked up so they carefully removed it on the day...I would recommend doing the same, it's a nice memento - just got a frame for mine :)

I did the same, prep monkeys ignored that request though so mines torn across from the corner. I've kept it all the same though, everything is in the UCL gift box stored away.

I also don't have a VIN, and albeit don't particularly want one just yet. I have no build date but judging by above posts, it could be sometime mid nextweek! (Hope)
Mine is scheduled in for the 11th of January (see photo of the dealer's system below). I'm hoping that my Window sticker will be available before the end of the week. I want to print it off and keep a little version of it on my wall. Then it'll hang alongside my engine cover when that finally arrives. :D

I was in a similar situation - I got a "projected build date" (can't remember what it was) before I got VIN/Window Sticker.

"Locked in" to me was when my order was officially on the Ford system - months before my actual build date of 05/10/15.

That's my 2 cents ;)

Ben, you've got the same dealer priority that I've got and status 'serialisation', any idea what that means? My build date shows 18 Jan, ETD 23 Apr.

No quite sure what to make of my current status - Dealer has told me that my status has not changed since we spoke in December and that's.

Production date of 03/01/2016 (last sunday?)

But still no vin etc?

Any ideas?

Yep that was my thinking - I asked him to check it the date wasn't American format i.e 1st march.

That would fit in with the original dealers estimate of delivery in June...

However hes come back and says its definitely UK format i.e 3rd jan - so a bit perplexed

They speak sometimes in weeks. Strange that they give you a sunday

However don't really mind as theres people waiting a lot longer than me!

You're killing me man :frusty:.

Order place: 11th August
I've been both 'confirmed order' which was end of august.
Projected build date was nov 11th (Knocked back because of 'something')
Was told it'd be build 'By the end of 2015' (Back in october)
Locked in apparently came up 18th Dec (before 22nd shutdown)
New build date is now Early Jan (not on etis, going by Karens word)
Still no VIN or Window sticker (Don't care much for them as long as I get the car ).
Officially re-told locked in Monday 4th Jan.

I'm gonna stay positive and go by 'Locked-in' being that the stuff has been procured and will be built within 10 days as per a message earlier in the thread

I've got no VIN, so can't look that up on dealers systems etc, i'm going by what Karen has said, if we go '10 days someone mentioned' (18th, would lead it to being next wednesday or thursday it being built). Glad yours is coming, because im still in the bleeding dark and i'm starting to lose faith even though it's way 'ahead' of schedule, it's now behind the new schedules that i'd been given. Playing with my hopes isn't a fun thing ford :(
