I had assumed that "committed" meant that the order couldn't be changed anymore, but obviously I was wrong. Mine is also at the committed stage as well but Stacey didn't have a VIN or build date for me yet, she did say to email back next week for an update.I had emails back today confirming my car is at the committed stage and was given the order number & dealer code. As I did not know what that meant, I emailed Stacey back & she said that this means that I could change spec if I wanted. Next stage is segmented & looking at late Jan/ Feb build. I did also ask her to confirm the spec they had for me to make sure it was correct- it was all correct fortunately but thought it was worth checking. Looks like my car is being built to the timescale given by my dealer when ordered ( perhaps a little earlier than expected). Good quick turn around on emails from Stacey today Well Done Ford! I will now resist the temptation to check again for an update until early February - you never know, my dealer may even contact me by then!
