Yea that LS FWD conversion kit cost might be expensive. Hahaha.

Oh well. It will be paid off in three months.

Edit: I do still want to do an LS swap to a 240sx.
I drove an ls swap RX7 which was amazing.

Punctuation : The use of standard marks and signs in writing and printing to separate words into sentences, clauses, and phrases in order to clarify meaning.

To proofread is to look over a piece of writing for errors, watching out for spelling mistakes and grammar problems.

Why'd you revert back to stock...bad gas?
No I changed it back to make it easier to drive when the roads get crappy. So far so good, although this winter has been mild over all. Only two or three days of slippery driving. I have a feeling though these next two months are gonna be long ones.

Once the car meets start up again, wondering how much of a turbo mustang vs turbo camaro rivalry there will be. Turbo people tend to stick together. Last summer I cruised down the road one night with a mazdaspeed 3 and three wrx's.

Back when I used to go to car meets with my 04 wrx, i respected every car, didn't matter what manufacturer it was or how much power it had. I was there to hang out and talk about cars in general and if some 16 year old kid loved his civic SI, he was a car nut just like me.

the Subaru and Evo guys did tend to group together and were always fascinated by any other car with an aftermarket turbo kit. Only once did an Evo guy give me crap for having a wrx. he shut up pretty quick once he saw how much faster my car was than his...

My 04 WRX was used in a commercial for the 2008 Mustang GT. you guys should have seen the look on the ford reps faces when I demonstrated launch control for the commercial director  We warned the sound boom guy to back up a little. He said "its ok, I know what im doing" exhaust spit some fire, freaked him out and he fell back flat on his ass

I miss the days when no one knew what the hell a WRX or an EVO was and everyone thought turbos were a joke... Really glad that the ecoboost mustang is available and doing well, even though I am not interested in buying one. Also glad to see a 2.0T camaro is coming.

Not sure if anyone knows but i just read on the Other forum that the GM 2.0 Turbo requires premium. Does the ecoboost require premium or can you still run 87 in it without knocking/engine damage. I also read that the 6.2 also requires premium or engine damage may occur. This doesn't sound to good if you have to pay more to operate it.

The EB doesn't require it but the power numbers were obtained through 93 octane.

Thanks

how do you like your AMG GT-S? Those things get pretty fast with a tune and downpipes(not that they are slow when stock)

I love it. The dealer has been trying to convince me to go with a tune. I never thought that I would want a faster car but the itch is always there. lol.

I'm pretty sure that the 2.0t requires premium. The 6.2 doesn't require premium but it is highly recommended.

Actually the 6.2 does require it. 11:5 compression ratio and direct injection are the main culprits. On camaro 6 they have the manual for the 6.2l available for everyone to see and it specifically stated that it is required.

Cadillac ATSs with the 2.0t were blowing up left and right a few years ago, I posted a thread on it a while ago- I think since then they've revised the ats owners manual now to 91 absolute minimum.

You don't go to meets anymore? I don't go to that many, mostly cuz of work and a lot of the "younger kids" want to street race everyone. I'm getting too old for this $%^&.

I would probably be driving a WRX right now if it wasn't for the turbo mustang. Sad the EVO is going bye bye.
