what temperature do you set it to ?

During the summer, i usually have the temp set at 70 to 71 with the blower at 2 bars when I drive in a tshirt and shorts.

it was cold for the first time in NY (30s) and I set the temp to 72 but the vents were blowing cold air? it wasnt until 75 did I feel some warmth in the air. is this normal? I had a long sleeve shirt on with no jacket when I was driving and 72 was too cold for comfort. I usually complain about being too hot.

Takes time for the engine to warm up and get hot air.
I have mine at 70-72. My problem is the car is cold when the engine is warm so it would blast hot air even when the cabin is already warm enough.

yes. button was on. I played with the temperature setting and blower speed.
also I drove for 30 min and it was still blowing cold air at 72.
I'll try again tonight and see whats up. maybe it's another trip to the dealer

70 degrees summer or winter. adjust 1 or 2 degrees either way for comfort as needed.

always leave it on AUTO, and never touch the fan.

The only thing you have to do is manually turn AC off as there are times the car wants to turn it on if the interior is hot from sun.

Just let the system do it's thing. It will keep the fan low as the car heats up in the winter, and turn the fan up and down as needed. Fords climate controll system is great.

That sounds weird. What if you turn temp to max does it still blow hot air?
Maybe the hot/cold air blend flap is not working.

hot air starts to come out above 75. I'll cruise on the highway tonight for 30 min for the car to warm up and see if it still blows out cold air at 72. will report back

Since it's winter time, I leave it off. Heck, I even drive to work in 36-45 F with it off. I am a different breed. In the summer, "Lo" and modulate the fan speed manually as desired. I've never adjusted it above "Lo" when I use it other than my wife adjusting her side (God bless dual temp).

ALWAYS keep the cooled seats on 3... Always... Then again I am a big guy and always run hot.

Well the other way is to have a thermometer and compare your temperature.
If it's already 72 degrees it will start to blow luke or even cold air. It uses a sensor to compare your interior temp vs your set temp.

LO in the summer. You need every bit of cooling you can get when it's 100 degrees outside.

Outside of summer, usually 72 or I just keep my windows down.

I did notice that when it's on auto, the air did not come out of the entire vent section against the wind shield. I think air only came out in the center portion of the vent. is that normal?

yea, it fans out from the center so you will get concentrated air in the center.
