I guess my car sucks, my numbers are still farrrr lower then everyone elses in here.

I take the hwy 12 miles to work and 12 miles back M-F, and the rest is basically city. I guess the hwy can be considered city as well during those 12 miles each way, seeing its an occasional stop and go on the way to work, and a lot of stop and go on the way back..............I do not put the car in sport mode, and I drive it fairly easy........still averaging 15.6mpg in said conditions with an occasional smooth sailing 30 mile hwy cruise thrown in the mix

Mine is an automatic. No tune when that pic was taken, but I just got a couple from Torrie. We'll see how it goes from here.

Only mods; CAI, bigger wheels/tires and a Borla catback.

What size of tires you run ? Tires with wider foot print would reduce the mpg considerably.

I think my lifetime MPG is 19.7, which is including a full winter and mostly city driving. My last 6,000 miles I have about 21 mpg.

This winter is better so far. The day after I bought my car in November it snowed and this year we're still in the 50's and 60's.

It realtime South Florida stop & go conditions, be it City or Highway don`t look for more then the low 20`s MPG. If fuel economy is important, might as well do the 5.0 V8 for the small difference there is.

that's if you can afford the 8-10K in price difference + insurance + fuel costs

agreed, I didn't buy a v6 purely for fuel economy...but the fact that it gets good mileage is a nice bonus. with a tune mileage is even better. mine is 2-3mpg higher than stock.
