It may take a while because of the holidays, but Deysha WILL get back to you. My problem is that I can't find the time to install all the stuff I've bought.

You're gonna love it! Had mine dyno'd last Thursday night. 371 hp SAE net on more than one 5th gear pull... stone stock engine. Wanted a solid baseline to work from. Normally a 15% loss through the drivetrain on a manual to the wheels. So... Ford ain't lyin' about the 435 hp SAE net at the flywheel. First 2 pulls were within 25 RPM of Ford's specificied RPM peak hp of 6250 RPM. Strange seein' the speedo go over 140 and the car isn't movin'. :D

Spread the purchases out over time. That way you won't run out of room or run out of money. Cuz if you do "run out"... depression will set in. ;)

Patience!
That is all...

Congrats! Welcome to the forum! Have you PM'd Deysha (FordService) on this thread? Send her your Dealer name or number (on the DORA), VIN, and last name. She's the go to gal for order status. Sent me my link for the window sticker on my birthday. Great gal!

Buying aftermarket parts helps with the wait... prevents depression!

Good luck, and I KNOW you'll have a "Happy New Year"!
That is all...
Newbie here too! :D Ordered my 2016 GT Vert 3Y PP on 11/20, got my VIN on 12/4 and it looks like by my window sticker the build date is 12/14. I am a loyal Mustang fan and have owned many GTs, but never ordered one. The dealership here has been great to work with so far, but the wait is killing me :frusty: I am already ordering some parts, but don't want to go crazy as I was really impressed by the stock PP Mustang I test drove. Merry Christmas to everyone!

Sounds like me. This is my 4th mustang, although my last technically wasn't a GT(91 notch 5.0), but this is my first brand new one. I couldn't have asked for a better dealer experience at Glen Sain Ford in Paragould. And now that I have the car, I just smile on the way to wherever I'm going. Deysha will get back to ya and she knows pretty much anything you'll be interested in. Happy waiting, and enjoy the PP...the brembos will stop you on a dime!

Hello All. First post. Ordered (2016 GT PP Magnetic w/Nav, Premier Trim and Adaptive Cruise) on 12/10. Current status is "order processing". No VIN or build date info yet. This will be my second Mustang. First was a 2010 GT bought off the lot.

Cheers and Merry Christmas!

And yet another one ordered! Suggested 1st mods, in order: hood struts, oil separator, MGW shifter. That isn't the order I purchased and installed them in, but that's how I'd do it now. The hood is aluminum, but it's heavy. A prop rod? DUH! Oil separator to catch the oil from the PCV hose from re-entering the intake. Blows a fair amount of oil back into the intake on high RPM decel. And if you put an aftermarket exhaust on it, you WILL be doing high RPM decels. I knew the OEM shifter was pig slop before I ordered the car. The MGW ain't cheap, but there's nothing better out there. 2nd to 3rd power shifts every time. Night & day difference in shifting gears. Some added vibration, as it's mounted to the tranny. A 5% discount code on the forum here for 6g members purchasing an MGW.

The wait will be worth it, I've had mine 5 days shy of 3 months, and still smile every time I drive it!

Patience!

Well, my birthday is in mid-January so Happy Birthday to me! :D Hood struts are a definite, I have them on my '12 GT/CS. You would think for the price of these new Mustangs Ford would finally put struts under the hood. Will look into the oil separator, have been reading about it and a buddy at work was just telling me yesterday about the shifter. He has a '15 Ruby Red Fastback with the PP and is getting one. Beyond that, I already have the K&N CAI ($25 rebate this month) and my MBRP cat-back exhaust was delivered today :headbang: We haven't had one bit of cool weather here in FL yet, so the top will be down as much as possible once I get it! Thanks for the advice Waldorf!

I just received a call from the dealer today. The vehicle is in a rail yard about an hour and a half from my home. They just need to load it on a truck and drive it up! Hopefully it will arrive tomorrow or the next day. I am happy, but no longer excited--I think I have developed excitement fatigue, at this point, and just want the car in my driveway lol. Funny things is I knew it would take 75 days, but had no idea how long those 75 days would seem!

Nice way to describe it. I'm still in the excitement stage and looking forward to a delivery. I talked to my salesman today and got the "I don't know, the guy who handles tracking and receiving is out till Monday" response. I sent Deysha a note yesterday but haven't heard anything. By looking at the Dealer's website I know they have a load of cars coming a couple of which are consecutive vin's from mine. So they should know something, just the Salesman isn't in the loop in guess. Well there isn't anything else I can do so tomorrow I will clean up and detail my trade in. Then sit back and play some tunes on my Stratocaster. Hows that song go " I been waiting on a Stang like you, to come into my life....

Mine is also the same. Salesperson called me and said that a delivery arrived. It was same color as mine but the VIN is one number off. I got my VIN from Deysha, not from the dealership. So salesperson double check. So it's either tomorrow or 31st for the delivery of mine.

I felt the same way and you describe it perfectly. Once you get it all will be fine and 'exciting' again. Like I look forward to going to work, that's how nice the car is

It shipped out on Monday, Road Dog. I’ll get back to your PM as soon as possible.
