Ford's 5.0 has a smaller displacement but size wise and weight wise it's not a smaller engine. DOHC setup adds weight and size.
Lol true, even the engine bay is too tight! I put a cai in my car and man it was twice harder than the ls3 camaro i had back in the day! Coyote is a big fat badass engine for its small displacement!

Same to you!

So are you going to sell your 5.0 to buy a 3.5L V6 Ecoboost that makes more than your 5.0 in the near future?
Nah.. hopefully a V8 option will remain... considering V6, and I4 cars sound like ass.

its' funny to me cause no body buys either car and leaves them stock i could give a Rat's $@#$@ about some numbers hell it took Chevy and dodge how many years to play catch up mean while Ford was killing them with the smaller 5.0 love all the SS Stick riders

Lol?

Probably close to 95% of buyers of Mustangs and Camaros leave their cars stock...

People who mod their cars are a very small percentage.

Idk... That GT40 sounds freakin awesome.

I think the new Camaro V6 sounds pretty nasty too. Now the Mustang and Camaro 4 bangers sounds pretty meh.

Yea, it's ridiculous how many people on this forum can't seem to grasp that concept.

I'd sure hope so. Lol. I may be wrong but I believe the right one is an old 5.0 and the left is a last gen 4.6. Feel free to correct me though.

Although, the older one would be cheaper to work on.

Since we are discussing physical size. This will make your jaw drop if you have never seen these side by side in person.

This is 4.6L vs 302.

WTF....when I checked this thread, that picture above was not there. Now I post and it is.

Yea. That's what I was thinking they were but couldn't remember from the original post with these two motors. Thanks for the clarification! (Although I said 5.0 but pretty much same thing physically.)

Imagine the power potential of the Coyote if it had the additional 1.2L of displacement of the Camaro.....

;)

Imagine if the Mustang had a turbine engine and ran off rocket fuel..?

Because that's about as good of an argument. Lol

Ummm no. I had a 2000 SS that stock would take any stock mustang and be a really good race on a Terminator if the driver was a novice.

Lol. Novice. If the termi didnt eat a stock ls the driver of the termi should have killed himself. I ran 12.5@113 in mine stock. Including tires.
