Just got back from my dealer. Car turned up overnight! :cheers:

The car is filthy (as expected after 4 months of sitting around!) and there is a small dent on the rear quarter panel and a light scratch on the front quarter panel... Dealer is going to get both items fixed up. Not ideal but nothing major.

Aiming for delivery on Christmas eve.

Congrats ...... Guard is just a sensational colour !!!! Hope you get keys on Thursday.

I'm also impressed by the ride height, I guess because we get the PP(? - I haven't been able to find if the PP is lower than standard?!@)

I reckon if the wheel fitment was slightly more aggressive I think it'd be near perfect straight from the factory.

A couple of first impressions:

1 - The cars even while dirty look amazing!
2 - Panel fit seemed okay. Walking around the car it looked pretty consistent. Didn't spot any signs of panels rubbing and the rear light fit looks okay. Not perfect but better than a lot i've seen and acceptable in my eyes
3 - Very happy with Guard! It looks a lot more like dark green than Magnetic in the metal
4 - No number plate holders fitted to the car (they were in the boot). The dealer was as mortified as we were when he saw them. They are going to try and fit the plates (QLD slimline plates) without using them. The back should be fine but he isn't sure about the front yet

Just had a phone call from a lovely lady at Ford Au.

My car is being delivered to my dealer on Monday.

Getting so close I can almost smell it!

She couldn't tell me what the dealer would do with the car, or how long they would need it for.

Looking good for a big magnetic V8 Christmas present. :clap2:

An unfortunate update! My car was not delivered on Monday, as per my phone call from Ford Au. It wasn't delivered today either, and my dealer hasn't been notified of any imminent delivery???

He couldn't get an answer from Ford Service, and recommended I try to call them. I did and they claim they haven't been able to can't track the car since late November? They were supposed to call back today with an answer, but that didn't happen either.

Bizarre, as I can tell them exactly where it is sitting in Brisbane!!!:frusty::frusty:

Frustrating as I see Pacific Ford have a few cars, and I saw 4 on a truck heading north late yesterday. Didn't get a photo, but nearly did my neck in when I realised that they were mustangs!

Still hoping, but an early Christmas present is looking unlikely!
